I have been looking for a kaftan for some time and was pleased to find this one. The material is comfortable and attractive. Based on other reviews that said this item runs small, I ordered one size larger than I would normally take, and I'm glad I did. Even after some shrinkage with washing (cold water and drying on low heat) I am finding this fits well. I will order more so I have a rotation.

Runs very small

Alhamdulliah Beautiful color and material. Husband is a size L: 5’10 210 pounds solid. Had ordered him an XL because due to other companies encounters they’ve ‘usually’ run small.Tried on once delivered & saw that it was indeed too large and long.Didn’t feel like going through returning process and decided to wash it in extra hot/-cold water in washer and high heat/or regular heat in dryer.After taking it out the dryer: he tried it on and it’s the perfect fit. SubhanAllah it was bewildering to see the size difference. A whole size down after wash. From sleeves to leg length!!So regardless, get a size up because you’ll have to wash it. If you don’t get a size up,you won’t be Baba but Ibn lol

While visiting a friend who had travelled to Egypt quite a bit, I got to wear a similar garment he had brought back. I've always loved the look and feel of it. I found this one to be comfortable and a great value for the price that I paid. It does have slits which the photo doesn't indicate. However, I'm glad it does. It makes walking and sitting more freeing. The material is a rough cotton - not too heavy or light. The rust color is nice. I'll be ordering another one.

Hi, I'm 6'6" was worried about the fit, but when it came I tried it on and perfect for me .I got the 3x when reading the reviews they stated runs small. I normally wear XL, but I wanted to insure the sleeves would be long enough. Sleeves are long enough. A tall guys dream for a long sleeve garment,and length is also good maybe a couple inches shorter than the model in the video, but no one would know the difference. it works out GREAT ! Love this !

I assumed this thobe would be like other thobes I've purchased but apparently this one has very long slits that expose the legs. Aside from that it has lots of loose strings that I needed to cut out when it first arrived and the fabric seems like it will tear easily. Dont waste your time!
