I got this as a last resort after getting a lot of back pain after an on-going disc problem intensified. I have a NHS supplied corset but it is inflexible with metal supports, heavy and leads to a lot of sweating which causes friction related problems. The brace came the day after ordering and the difference between it and the NHS version was evident. This brace is lightweight, very comfortable and did not cause the sweating I normally experienced. It didn't instantly remove my back pain and it isn't a miracle cure but it makes it much more manageable. I can wear it all day adjusting the tension if required and forget that I am wearing it sometimes. As an added benefit, people are now asking about my much trimmer figure.In conclusion: it is not a miracle cure but it does give a lot of support to back problems and enables the wearer to do a lot more, and more comfortably, than being without it. I tend to look upon this as one of my better buys and, for the price, it is cheap enough to try and evaluate for yourself. I would be surprised if it didn't relieve, in part, a lot of back pain and allow a more manageable day. It is also so nice to take off and have a good scratch afterwards.!

I'm slim build and it gives me good support, being able to play with the bands adjusting in many levels. The removable pad for lumbar it is an interesting option to have. It is lightweight and doesn't make me sweat. The metal bars give you support and are flexible enough to make it comfortable, however, if you use it at hip level, if you crouch too much it will inevitably move up.

Unfortunately these days I suffer with my back due to arthritis and spinal stenosis. The challenge is to control pain at still stay reasonably active. This is the third type of back suppport that I have tried. Like the first this one is slightly more expensive but you get what you pay for and if you need to wear a support more of less daily don't waste your money on a cheap one at £28 this represents outstanding value.The Velcro fastenings are of the slightly more expensive and more hard wearing type. In addition to the plasit stiffeners this one has a nice lumbar support pad which is just right if you have arthritis in L1 to L5, it will help you to avoid the unnecessary movements which cause so much pain.

It is too heavy and cumbersome. I wanted something you could wear under clothing. Not suitable for my requirements but it is well made and supports the back.

I choise this belt after buying and returning another make, as I was unable to find the correct size .This is fantastic. The fit of L/XL is ideal for me , with a large range of adjustment within each size, depending how tight/ firm you want the support.The belt is extremely well made, with THREE bands of Velcro strap to fix- left, right then final right fixing. It can easily be worn over or under a shirt .Originally I looked at a trendy support belt marketed for fly fisherman. Almost double the price and not as good.I don't know if it's psychosomatic but my back feels a little better after one day! NoPain when leaning over to brush my teeth.Look no further - just but it.

Brilliant and has helped a lot but not too happy with the skin irritation so I have cut down how long I wear it for. Also I am a size 14/16 and on reflection I should have purchased the next size up.

This product is of excellent quality and its design is first class. Having tried several different support braces over the years I find this is the one for me. It is strong and the tension supportive with its lumbar pad fitting just right. I suffered a fracture of my spine some years ago and after years of discomfort I am sure this brace is the one for me. I commend this seller for quality and service.

Too bulky

Wir haben den Stützgurt für unseren Umzug gekauft, damit der Rücken nicht so sehr belastet wird. Hat uns auf jeden Fall einige Schmerzen erspart. Super!

Also ich geb 5 Sterne.Mir hilft die Rückenbandage.Habe bei der Arbeit viel weniger Schmerzen.Ich kann die Bandage nur empfehlen.

Over the last two years or so, I have been struggling with my on and off relationship with Sciatica. In January this year, I had an MRI done and the doctors found that I had two herniated discs, the L5 and S1. This is due to genetics, weight, and my job (constant up and down, fast pace, etc). So my uncle (retired doctor) told me to look into a back brace. I surfed amazon to find something with higher rated reviews. I came across this one and gave it a try.PROS:-More Velcro for better structure and support.-Sizing (I am plus size).-Breathable.-Covers whole core and lower back.-Excellent lumbar support.CONS:-The plastic bars in the brace break after a while.-It folds (not too bad).-Makes back/armpit fat more prominent (which is not important if you want to be comfortable, more of a vanity issue).-Not constructed for those that have a third gut (which is not the company's problem, but our own).Overall, if you want something that is size accurate, which is really important for online shoppers such as myself, and has good form, this would be the best bet. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the lack of longevity of the product (I have to replace every 1 1/2 months or so).I was not offered a discount or free product for this review. I am an honest customer with an honest review. Thank you.

This thing worked WONDERS on my back! I haven't felt this good in years! Use this correctly and it will get you back to health or save you from further injuries. It caused little discomfort, I always used it over a plain T-shirt or Polyester moisture-wick shirt to prevent skin irritation and sweating.My biggest suggestion as a former medical professional, use it sparingly! I wore it for a few hours at a time, then took it off for a few hours, back and forth making sure to never keep it on for longer than what was needed. Keeping it on helped me straighten out my back, and removing it allowed my muscles to workout and keep my back straight.Do not overuse! you do not want to have to use physical therapy to rebuild lower back muscles... 2 weeks of non-stop use could mean months of rehabilitation.

Velcro is weak! Kept opening all the time. Its a damn shame cause otherwise it could've been something great. I have two herniated disks and its important to buy something that actually works.
