disappointed the babasling is not for me and my boy
i bought the babasling for an 8mth baby boy, who is of average size and weight for his age, yet i found it really hard to wear with him in it. it states one size fits all, which it does as it just goes over your head and one shoulder, but having said that i find it quite uncomfortable to use, so, unless i am wearing it incorrectly(??) which i doubt i am, this is not nearly as useful a product as it had appeared to be, prior to my purchase. i had read reviews for the babasling and thought it was a good idea, but for me it turns out it is not so. it's too uncomfortable for me to wear and i don't really feel the baby is secure in the sling at all so i feel he may drop and fall out of it! for this reason i have only used the babasling once for approx 15mins. perhaps it is me not using it correctly but, either way, i am not very impressed with this item and regret the money spent on it unfortunately.

Very handy. Use it everyday
This is the perfect sling, both my husband and I use this daily and love it. Very quick to put on. I only use the saddle position with my 5 month baby. He often falls asleep when out and about. Not totally hands free, I tend to keep an arm around him. Gets tiring on the neck and shoulder after a long walk of over an hour but usually I just use this to pop to shops and doing errands rather than bothering to get pram/car seat out.

BabaSling - Easy to use? - not really
Having tried other baby carries - which our little one hated - We thought the 'sling' idea was a good one. But it doesn't offer much support and our twelve week old just hated it. Tried contacting BabaSling and left them an email on their site hoping they might have some tips but they didn't reply; very dissapointed - buy the product but no after sales interest at all.

Shoulder pain!
This sling is OK and is very easy to use. However, I find it hurts my back/shoulders quite a lot if I wear it for more than an hour or so. It's also made of that cotton that attracts a lot of lint so always looks a bit fuzzy! I think next time i'd go for a sling with more lumbar support. I'm pretty tall though, the style might work better for a shorter parent ; )

fantastic!
I bought this when my toddler was 6 months and wish I'd bought it sooner, it's comfortable and easy to wear, easy to adjust and very quick to get baby into the correct position (provided you check out how to first) Now with a new baby (6months) and a 2& 1/2 year old toddler, I've been using it since birth and its great to keep baby safe whilst remaining hands on with my other little one! because it's so easy to use, it's handy to pop the little one in, nip into shops whilst pushing a stroller with my toddler in!I also have to say that I have used it recently with my toddler who must be pushing 2stone and it was lovely to have that closeness again! Although after half an hour I felt it on my shoulders due to her weight :)

Not what I was expecting, difficult to wear and to adjust
I like the idea of this but I just can't get used to putting the baby in and out whilst also feeling she is secure. Maybe better for older children that don't wriggle about as much. Have tried and failed with it for the last 10 months and instead I switched to a front carrier, which suits us much better. It's very hard/impossible to change the straps yourself whilst wearing it, which makes it impossible to adjust on your own when baby is in if you feel like she is not secure and if you've left the house with baby in, this leads to issues with how to fix it without putting your baby on the floor... and praying she/he doesn't catch anything or hurt themselves or crawl off somewhere. It also tends to shift and the buckle and hurts my shoulder. I don't recommend it, but that is from personal experience, I have heard other mother talk about this product with glowing remarks. Maybe try before you buy?2018 edit. I never did learn how to use this.

Contented baby...happy mummy !!
We bought the babasling after our midwife advised that normal slings were uncomfortable for little boys (pressing in all the wrong places!!). Our baby was born 6 weeks premature, so this sling has been invaluable for snuggling him up to us and keeping him calm. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the fact that although it adjusts for different sized people, my husband who is very tall and broad chested found it a little difficult to use at first, as the sling does not lay as low down onto his chest. However, we have worked it out now and it works well.

Baby hated it
I bought this sling when i was pregnant with my daughter, it looked good and the material was good quality. Was complicated at first getting the sling on by myself, but as soon as we put my daughter in it she screamed the house down. It was distressing for us and our daughter so we sent it back and got a carrier which was much better
