These calcium chews taste like a piece of candy, but without being to sweet. And it has provided me with tge right amount of calcium that my body needs. The price is a bit high, thats why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Great product. Taste smooth not chalky

I am not a bariatric patient, but on a breast cancer treatment that has side effects in bone density. My doctor wanted me on calcium citrate. Every pill I tried I was unable to swallow. And the couple of "melt in your mouth" ones were tolerable, but not pleasant to take. Chalky and tasteless. I read about these, as well as the bad reviews on the taste. Being a caramel lover, I decided to take the chance. And I am so glad that I did. Though not as good as the popular carmel candies, these actually are pretty good. I take two a day and kind of use them as a sweet treat after breakfast and dinner. I do not experience any aftertaste, and I like their caramel consistency. I see no reason to shop further for the supplement that I need. I will be moving to subscription buying next month.

I got the DS surgery in March and have been looking for a good calcium supplement. I tried the fruit punch based off reviews and strongly disliked it. They were kinda chunky/chalky and tasted really chemically but having an even worse chewable previously, I just sucked it up and made it work. That is until I saw a lemon flavor. They're awesome! I can't say the taste exactly like a Starburst but basically as close as you can get as a calcium and significantly less chalky than the fruit punch. I love them so it makes it much easier to take these every day. Also, I noticed lots of supplements are chocolate, caramel, and other super rich flavors so I'm so happy to find a light, slightly sour fruit flavored vitamin. Heavy recommend lemon!

This is a great supplement! It can sometimes be sticky on the wrapper. Tastes good, does what it is supposed to do.

If you eat this caramel flavored chew with 1/4 cup of salted nuts, (cashew, almonds or pecans) it tastes exactly like a PayDay Candy bar, the one with salty peanuts on the outside and caramel filling on the inside. However IF you eat this chew without salted nuts, it tastes only vaguely like fake caramel dunked in gasoline. I discovered magic accidentally when I ate the first chew all by itself, and in order to quickly kill the horrid taste of these chews, I quickly grabbed maybe six or seven nuts from my husbands nearby salted assorted nuts (Kirkland) and threw the nuts into my mouth along with the chew and chewed them together. Magic happened. I adore (but cannot eat) Payday candy bars, and suddenly that lovely payday caramel nut taste was in my mouth. Now I look forward to taking this calcium chew but only with salted nuts. Cleveland Clinic says to take only 600 mg calcium at any one time, so one is the perfect size. And I have just ordered another bag full. But if you order this, make sure you order some salted nuts, or you will be writing a review that said you should have believed the review written by a grandma who warned you that you had to eat nuts with this caramel chew. I have not tried any food other than nuts, other foods might work too, but you sure will need something to kill the taste.

The flavor of the caramel tastes great and they are easy to swallow. The size is nice and the levels of calcium is perfect for my needs. The reason I decreased my rating is because these are difficult to get out of the wrapper. They stick and every time I end up leaving a decent percentage of the chew, in the wrapper since I don’t want to eat paper.

I highly recommend this product, especially if you're going through bariatric surgery. It's gentle before and after, and the flavor is good; you can vary it. It has helped me a lot in my recovery process. I take the ones out during the day and they go with me everywhere.
