Excellent outfit to work with. I do recommend them.

I’ve been snowboarding for more than 20 years and done thousands of base repairs too. Even briefly worked at a shop too. This stuff didn’t even adhere to the base it popped right out. Look somewhere else for ptex candles these things were horrible.

I prefer the smaller diameter p-tex. This stuff is a bit difficult to keep lit.

I purchased these to use with my Skimender RP105, per the manufacturer's recommendation. Fought with most of the repairs and thought it might be the way I used the Skimender or that maybe the surface wasn't prepared well enough. Most of the time the material would pull out while scraping, no matter how many hours or days it cooled. Even days later it was slightly soft and is almost impossible to scrape smooth without pulling out due to the elasticity. Finally pulled out my old P-Tex, dripped it in like I used to and had no problems scraping it nice and smooth. Don't buy it unless you want to spend many hours doing simple repairs.
