Took a chance on ordering the first one but after installing I went back online and ordered another. The build quality is good if you respect the fine screw thread on the housing and the screw adjustments for zoom and focus are very handy too but again make sure you use a suitable slotted screwdriver and take care. The BNC video connection and 12v plug was a straight swop for the connection from my previous cameras. I used my surveillance app on my smartphone to see the image when adjusting and all looked good on my HD monitor. HOWEVER !.... When I went to call up the UTC (Up the cable) menu on my second camera I could not get it to work and thought I had a defective unit. I followed the written instructions to select the Hikvision coaxial protocol as with the first camera which worked a treat but then realised that my hybrid dvr had a mix of TVI and AHD cameras and as soon as I chose the AHD UTC protocol the on screen menu appeared. With the option of tweaking the gain for night-time use the vision in total darkness is outstanding and I cannot recommend these cameras enough. Don't forget to set the correct output on the built-in mini joystick and I always try the settings whilst plugged temporarily into my DVR and just leave the zoom and focus adjustments when up my ladder.

Decent price, decent spec, decent quality.Running on the HD-coaxial standards, these are really impressive. Night performance is excellent too.I did receive one faulty one (1/5) but it was because the camera box had been whacked at some point and not because of manufacturing quality.Make sure you use decent quality cable and you’ll get some fabulous output. I ran one on existing multi-core cable and it picked up some noise and that made the picture look poor. Where I used pro CCTV shotgun cable, results were amazing.

From the start the camera gave very good quality pictures however it has failed after 3 months i changed all the cables going to it just in case . Its a shame as i like the look of it and ease of set up would wonder if suppler would replace as im happy to send this one back ....can i see that happening mmmmmm its Amazon i dont think so ..would like to give it more stars value for money yes at the time now no .so you get what you pay for. shame nice looking camera....

Cheap camera , 2 mp picture reasonable during day but very disappointing with night vision and no way is the range 30 metre us ! I have 5 on site with one hikvision camera and that camera leaves them standing .

Brought from Skyview via Amazon and it arrived in no time.Feels a quality item when you get it out of the box and worked on my Swan DVR with no adjustment required. Fitted to desired position then adjusted zoom and focus with the grub screws. Vast improvement on my old camera as my photo's hopefully will show. Would definitely buy again.

The night vision on this camera in relation to my set up is outstanding, its a shame these cameras appear to be permanently out if stock and replaced with slightly different model now as i wanted to purchase more of the same, i found these cameras affordable, excellent picture quality and definitely worth the money, i have had it up apparently over 1 month now with no problems 🤞🏼
