Great seat pad!
We bought this seat pad for our Concept 2 Rower. It's easy to put on the seat and it stays, no matter how long my husband or I row. Doesn't slip or slide and it's very thick and comfortable. I actually think it gives me a better leg workout b/c of the added height being I'm only 5'4", if that makes sense. Also, it shipped fast. I had it 2 days after I ordered it!

So far, so good!
I got a rowing machine in July because I'm not going to a gym during a pandemic and I needed an exercise machine that was easy on the joints. Things were going great until I experienced the dreaded rower's butt. Like, wow and ow. So, I ordered this cushion, tried it out, and I'm now a believer. This cushion is super thick, super comfy, and it stayed in place while I was rowing. And, best of all, I didn't have rower's bum after a workout! #Winning.

PERFECT with A Minor Modification
The media could not be loaded. My husband and I both had sore butts after rowing more than 15 minutes on our new FDF Neon Pro V. It has a relatively well cushioned seat but we needed more cushioning. The 3-inch thick Rowing Machine King seat cushion was ALMOST perfect, but it absolutely needed modification for me, being under 5 feet tall and weighing less than 100 lbs.The thick front edge didn’t conform easily enough to my thighs. It cut off circulation to my legs at the end of my stroke when my legs were straight! However, I couldn’t see using a half-inch thick cushion. Since it is so well constructed with straps to hold it in place and it really protected the tail bone, I unzipped its cover in front and modified its shape with a long serrated knife. Its extra supportive and very thick foam was not needed up front under the thighs. It actually made it impossible for a shorter person like me to row comfortably, but it was easy to fix! I didn’t try to make a separate dip for each thigh. I just sawed off its very thick, squared front edge at a steep angle straight across (see pic). It wasn’t too difficult and took me about 5 minutes. NOW, my husband and I are BOTH so happy, and I can say it’s PERFECT! It’s actually more comfy for him, too.It is advertised for the Concept 2 Rower, but it fits our First Degree Fitness fluidrower perfectly, too, and it does not slip. Sturdy straps provide added security bc it is so thick, but I’m not sure these are really necessary. When even my lightweight body sits upon it, the foam seems to collapse to about an inch in the back and center under me and, now, ours has very little thickness in front where none is needed. With one easy modification, we both highly recommend it!

Now I can't stop rowing ...
Your butt won't ever get sore rowing on this pad. The pad is very dense, so your cheeks settle in but don't bottom out. Would fit any rower seat and should fit other exercise equipment, very easy on/off, fits my Sole SR500 pefectly. I now have one less excuse to end a row early.

If you’re a long distance rower with chronic butt pain, look for something else.
Product came in a timely manner. Short term evaluation: good fit for C2, does not slip during the row, pain free rowing for 17 minutes, not much help for a 3+ hour workout.

The best search I ever made
"Rowing Machine accessories" Been getting upper butt sores/pain from rowing, especially since loosing some weight. Debated buying the thicker model, but this is adequate. I'm 180 lbs and at the end of the rowing, the pad has flattened out a bit. A heavier person may want to consider the thicker pad. Of course, the more padding, the higher a rower will sit. I sit more forward as opposed to without the pad. It's a blessing!

Exactly what I needed!
Definitely worth it! Fits my concept 2 rower seat perfectly and doesn’t slip or move. I can’t use the excuse of an uncomfortable rowing seat anymore to avoid my rowing exercises! Great product.

Great for smaller users
It’s high quality, easy to put on, and definitely more comfortable when using the rower, but I do sit a little too high now. I’m 6’1” and the large cushion does throw things off a bit by causing me to be to high above the handle. I’m hoping with some use, it’ll flatten out a bit and make me more level. My girlfriend is 5’10” it is just right for her. Worth the investment if you do any distance rowing
