Part of Julia Connors Frozen Hearts series, this interconnected stand-alone is a super sweet second chance romance with found family and some serious girl power🌸Jameson definitely took a minute for me to warm up to but under his tough exterior he ended up being such a caring man that would give up everything for those he loves, and Lauren found her spark and became the powerful independent woman we knew she could be. A right person wrong time pairing, moving from enemies to friends to lovers!The way the book spoke about grief and the pressure to miss someone was really powerful. I loved the slow burn and how Lauren was encouraged not to feel guilty for moving on. The perfect ending to the series, I absolutely cannot wait for Audrey and Drew’s story in Center Ice🧊

On the Line is a slow burn yet sensual, spine-tingling chemistry-charged romance from heartbreak and tragedy to lies this mesmerising read has it all - once I started Lauren and Jameson's story, I couldn't put it down, there are second chance/enemies to lovers romances that are good, those that are very good and then there is On The Line, which started briefly in the neutral zone went straight to a power play and continued to deliver brilliant, captivating romance goals time and time again - is it more than Five stars? You bet!Jameson is everything that a swoon book boyfriend should be, and he is in my top 5 of 2023, 5-years ago he was an up-and-coming sports agent, after retiring earlier from the NHL to raise his younger sisters (right there had me swooning), and he worked with Lauren for a couple of years before for a second they had a moment in time, but he let the best thing that could happen to him go and introduced her to the man she married 6 months later.Now 5-years on and the pair are reunited as Lauren comes to terms with being a sudden widow and as her late husband's sports agent Jameson is about to be more help than either of them could ever had imagined, as Lauren and Jameson peel back layer after layer about her late husband, the attraction that was their years ago ignites again and Jameson vows this time he will fight for her and her adorable 2 little girls.Not only did this author bring the two MCs to life, she brought to life everyone that appears in the book, Jameson's sister are about to have their own starring roles, and I for one, am already eagerly awaiting it to hit my Kindle.On the Line was one story that I just wanted to keep reading and never put down, I adored the bonus epilogue, so don't forget to download it at the end of the book.

If you have read the others, Nate was my favourite but oh my… Jameson is amazing!I felt so much for Lauren and the way Josh had behaved towards her. She deserved so much more than what he gave her. Luckily Jameson shows her how she should be treated and he slowly mends her heart and self worth.Lauren is brave and when things get tough she keeps going, being a single mum to twin girls and trying to rebuild her life after everything that has happened.Julia creates characters that are dynamic and makes the reader feel so many emotions. I love her writing style, the way she weaves her story is captivating. I couldn’t put it down and kept reading till I was finished.I highly recommend you read this book and series. They are all standalones but have connected characters.

I absolutely LOVED this book. I was only about 3 chapters in when I knew that this book was going to be great! For her, he's the one that pushed her away, for reasons unknown.Jameson is an ex-NHL player turned successful sports agent, and he's the dreamiest combination of sweet and filthy.This was my first read from Julia Connors but now I'm going to go back and read the rest of the series because it was so good!
