I hung two Joydeco blackout curtains I bought from Amazon from this pole to separate the downstairs area of my place from the upper living area and-it did the job. I got it to adjust perfectly, just like pictured above, with ease and it’s holding the two curtains in place beautifully. I got the thicker product because I needed the width and strength to hold the two thick curtains and I’d only wished I’d thought to do this sooner. It looks great, does the job and blends right in beautifully with the navy and dark grey (I went for two different colored curtains and it’s even more attractive with all the blue/grey tones in my place). The thickness was perfect but it also just blends/fades into the background like it should. It’s strong, functional and a great price (it saved me the money and hassle of a curtain rod and it’s more efficient).

I’m actually using this for a regular curtain rod to spam the distance between two walls to help with heat retention in my home and it is sturdy enough to hold a winter insulated curtain both panels in place. I’m surprised at how well this works.

I bought this tension rod to hang cafe curtains under my bathroom sink. It is so sturdy and easy to work with. Fits great.

Overall, this is a mediocre tension rod. It is easy to set up and remove. It is able to hold up a curtain panel in my doorway. However, the tension isn’t great because the rod often starts to droop down over time, and the curtain is not especially heavy. It looks nice and fits my doorway perfectly. However, it’s not that sturdy.
