Had to wait longer for the product than I'd hoped, the first parcel was lost in transit, but it was definitely worth waiting for. The product was easy to use and gave a beautiful finish to my solid teak chopping board that had not been looked after as it should have been. We re-sanded the board to smooth out all the years of use and then treated the new surface with the block conditioner and the board is now as beautiful as it was when we received it as a wedding present in 1986.

First class product and service will use again

My previous butcher blocks have been relatively cheap, and thus they did not last long. I now have an expensive Solid End Grain Chopping Block 16"x18"x2" w/Hardwood Feet. I wanted to make sure this butcher block would last a long time.I perused the Amazon conditioners for butcher blocks, and the John a Taylor product received rave reviews. I was most taken with R Clay's review, and have followed his instructions. You are never done conditionng your butcher block wood. My butcher block looks beautiful, richer than I could have imagined. I followed the instructions on the back of this product, and also re-read R Clay's instructions. Thus conditioner is really fine, and easy to use. It came well packaged with clear instructions. For the money, and with the wonderful reviews and the end result, this is the product I will continue using.Recommended. prisrob 05-22-14
