I had bought this item 2 years ago for use with an outdoor fish pond. It had become brittle and cracked so I had to replace it. This is a slightly different version of the product. It seems slightly more flexible and maybe a bit thicker. I was able to install it on the pump connector very easily, which was a pleasant surprise. No struggling or heating necessary as I recall from the last time.

This hose is very stiff with no flexibility to it. Great hose if that is what you need in your hose.
