Transmission shifter Bushing Set KV6Z7K340A and DG9Z7S004A Edge, Transit Connect, Fusion, C-Max, Escape

My 2017 Fusion SE Eco stalled in the garage with “Shift Sys Fault Service Required” message. We called Ford dealership and they advised the shift cable bushing could be missing. We looked it up on YouTube, parts were difficult to find in store but we found them here with the next day delivery. The bushing was fairly easy to put on and solved the problem. While these parts were more expensive, they saved us hundreds of dollars in towing, service coats and hassle. I appreciate the convenience, the speed of shipping and delivery. Highly recommend!

Worked and fit perfectly for my 2017 Ford Fusion SE 1.5L. Fairly easy installation only took about 45 minutes. Quality is leagues better than what comes on the car originally and it was still a Ford part. Compared to other cheaper brands I was glad I spent the extra money for Ford genuine parts. Worth the money.

Perfect fit and solved that Check Engine light -- good thing the code pointed to this part. A five minute fix with the part if you can turn a screwdriver.

Of course, Ford will continue to harass you about bringing the car in for the dealer to change these out under the recall!! It's about a fifteen (or less) minute job for any DIYer; do you really HAVE to leave your car at the dealer all day???

I found a perfect fit for my Ford Escape. The Ford parts cost around $2, but shipping and the time it took to get them ($25) made it worth it to get them next day instead of waiting a week.

Well it happened to my parents the ford escape was shifter handle wouldn't release out park! We did some research and out the handle was in park position but on the dash it was reading Neutral. So we found out that their was a recall ont the shifter cable bushing. How we got it home is you pull the Emergency Brake handle up start the car pop up the shifter plastic ring and in the left corner closet to the driver r you reach down with your finger you pull back the little white hook release to you and while you got it pulled back take the shifter and put it Neutral. Then put r your foot on Brake and release the Emergency Brake handle back down and drive it home! You will have no Park or Reverse till you fix the shifter cable bushing up the air cleaner box! We went Autozone and bought the help kit which hand to clear bushing and one orange one! It only lasted 2 days and it popped off again so we got this kit cause this is the Manufacturer recall part to fix it right! The new yellow bushing snaps in the plastic cable shifter really tight and the it snaps on the transmission lever ball really tight! Plus the white plastic locking cap it a added protection! I highly recommend this product and would buy again!

These are original Form parts but WAAY over priced. You can both these parts at any Ford Parts Department for less than $5.00.
