SnugFleece Wool Mattress Pads provide unsurpassed comfort! These pads offer superb craftsmanship and quality that is not found elsewhere. Wool has a unique way of accommodating fluctuating body temperature helping you stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. These pads fit directly on your mattress, under your fitted sheet. In winter, air pockets between wool fibers trap body heat and keep warm air circulating freely, providing a consistent body temperature that allows deeper, more restful sleep. In summer, wool's absorbent, hollow fibers wick moisture, keeping the air next to your skin dry, and eliminating that damp, clammy feeling. Sheets remain cool and crisp even on muggy nights. This dry environment discourages growth of mold and mildew, a plus for people with allergies. Soft, cushioned support conforms to contours of your body to ease pressure points and aid circulation. This helps eliminate restless nights, stiff neck, lower back pain, painful joints, arm and hand numbness. 100% American virgin wool is clean, odor free, and naturally flame resistant. All adult sized SnugFleece Wool Mattress Pads have 2" wide elastic corner straps that fit any mattress up to 18" deep. The crib sized straps will fit mattresses 4"-8" deep. To help choose the right pad for your bed, please see the Other Images area "Which Pad is Right For Me?" table. The SnugFleece Original and SnugFleece II have a cotton backing onto which the wool fibers are bonded. These two styles are dry-cleanable. Can also be vacuumed and spot-cleaned to keep in good shape. The Deluxe, Imperial, and Elite have wool fibers knitted through a woven polyester machine washable backing. Returns of SnugFleece Wool Mattress Covers must be returned in "like new" condition (you can sleep on them but they cannot be washed or altered in any way to qualify for a refund). Magic!!!
I was recently visiting my family and they offered to let us use their pack n play for our 16 month old and I forgot how hard the mattresses are and didn’t bring anything to help pad it. When I asked if I could use a blanket to stuff under the fitted sheet my mom showed me the wool pad she had. Pfew! I forgot that as children we used these in our cribs and they are simply incredible! Wool is magical in its ability to regulate body temperature and I am not kidding when I say that our lil guy sleeps an extra hour with this on than without it.He did have a blow out one morning and soaked his sheets and the wool pad. the hubby inadvertently washed the wool pad in hot water with the rest of the sheets and it shrunk up to what resembles felt and lost all plushness. I tried to regain its plushness with conditioner but it won’t go back to its original form so I bit the bullet and ordered another.I have since topped the wool pad with a mattress topper just to be safe and the little one still sleeps soundly and I am okay sacrificing some of the thermal benefits from the wool pad being directly under the sheet.Overall, we love this wool pad and it will be something we use for years so it’s worth the investment.

We love this!
We love this!! I wouldn't recommend it for a very young baby. I would go with one of the less plush toppers for a small infant. This is great for my 11 month old who rolls, sits, stands, jumps, and moves everywhere...no issues with being able to free herself in a too soft topper. It is snug and warm...she's resting better now in the slightly chilly nursery. I used a polyester fleece blanket on top of the snugfleece but under the crib sheet under where she lays her head to catch drool and reduce how often I have to wash and it still works great.

Happy baby!
This is the best crib pad you can get. I buy these for all my new grand babies. They sleep so well from day one every time. It’s machine washable and launders well.

Great product, wouldn't recommend for small infants that can roll
We live in the midwest where it gets quite cold. This cover was the perfect solution to help keep our little one warm. This wool mattress cover fits perfectly on the crib and is nice and plush. Our child is 6 weeks old and has surprised herself by rolling over onto her belly a couple times. She doesn't yet have total neck control and the cover is so plush that I took it off out of concern that her little nose would be buried in it without her knowing to turn her head. We will definitely be putting it back on when she's a few months older!

Soft and Cuddly
My grandson had complained that his mattress wasn't comfortable. Aha, I searched the web for something comfortable for him and this Fit The Bill. He loves it under his sheet and states that he sleeps better.

Awesome crib matress for my baby!!
I bought the crib sized matress pad for my 7 month old who has always slept in his crib. Before, I was using several layers of blankets trying to make his crib softer, which he figured out how to pull on them and yank them all up out of being being tucked in. So I started looking for a soft, washable, safe crib matress to hopefully help him sleep better and also be comfortable and safe. When I came across this posting after googling for hours I was practically sold from reading the description. Then I read some of the reviews and I bought it. When I got it is was so soft and there was a wooly smell to it, but to me it was relaxing and not bothersome. The very 1st day I put it in his crib, he was sick and ended up throwing up on it. I was surprised how instead of puddling the throw up around his face, it sucked it down into the pad. Good for my baby, not so good for the pad. So I read the instructions which come with the pad and washed it with woolite, and although it says you can dry it, I laid it out in the sun and it dried pretty quickly. It was a bit matted up in places on the pad, so the instructions say you can brush it with a wire brush, and after googling a wool brush, I found that it is the same thing as a cat or dog fur brush. Bought 1 at walmart and brushed it out really good. (I know. Kind of sounds crazy, but I live in a small town and couldn't find an actual wool wire brush anywhere, so I improvised!) It does shed bad when you do this so don't do it often or you'll have no wool left in the pad! Put it back on the crib, covered it with a flannel fitted sheet, and it was good as new. My baby loves it by the way. It is really soft and he seems to settle easier with this pad, like he's just so much more comfortable! I'm honestly thinking about getting 1 for my my husband's and my bed! And I have a cousin who is having a baby in March and I think I just might get this for her baby!Bottom line: If you're looking for soft, organic, natural, easy to take care of matress pad, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone.

Extra comfy for baby's crib
Well, officially you are not supposed to add padding to your baby's crib mattress due to the risk of SIDS. I started using this on my baby's crib when she was around 4 months old and could roll, lift her head, etc., so I wasn't worried. This mattress cover helped her to transition to the crib from the Leachco Podster she was sleeping on previously. I think crib mattresses are just too hard and uncomfortable for little babies. I'd definitely recommend this. It's soft and fluffy, and makes that hard infant mattress more comfortable.
