I returned this clock after trying very hard to like it. The concept of it is cool, but it just didn't work. The buttons barely worked so it took forever to switch settings. The sound was the worst part. First the recordings were very cheap sounding on a 10-15 minute loop that became very annoying. The volume on the recordings was too loud. Who wants to listen to overly loud, tinny ocean? Maybe if I could've turned it down it may have been tolerable. I also wanted a way to set the light to a timed alarm without sounds and couldn't do it. I cannot believe this clock has so many positive reviews. As others have said, that the majority of these must be fake.

I am sometimes hesitant about reviewing products that I haven't used for an extended time because I don't like reviewing early on and changing my mind after extended use. I cleaned out my nightstand today and this clock was in it. I have no idea where the manual is and my attempts to set the alarm have been futile. I have been using my phone to wake up for quite some time and after discovering this item again thought it might be better to try it again because I always check the news and other notifications when I wake up with my phone. I can't figure this clock out and judging from the other reviews, it may not be worth keeping........ (Original-Over the past year, I have bought a few clocks and none of them were quite right until this one. It is my favorite because the combination of sunrise simulation and sounds are effective at waking me up at 5:00 am. The clock's overall appearance is also nice.

Most of the 5 star reviews for this product are fake. (Check the fakespot website) No matter what color you select the only one that will come on to wake you is white. It's supposed to come on at a low setting and get brighter over a 1/2 hour before the alarm but it starts out way too bright and the "low" setting for the time is also way too bright. You will have to tune the clock face away from you when sleeping. The wakeup sounds are all pretty poor recordings of waves, birds, pianos etc. Not recommended.

I love it! I saw reviews that said the instructions weren't clear. I typically struggle with directions and I was able to follow along and set it up. It's easy. I think you have to let the clock know that you want the alarm set everyday but I can remember that so that's fine for me. It's been easier to wake up in the mornings with the light and sometimes I'm up before my alarm which I like so I can lay there for a bit and let myself wake up a bit more. If you don't like being woken up before your alarm goes off then it may not be for you. There may be a way to not have it start lighting up 30 minutes before you wake up but I didn't see directions for that. Which I didn't mind because I like its current setting. I like the additional colors too and it has a setting where it will shift through them all which is really aesthetic and nice. I'm super glad I got this and would reccomend it for anyone who really struggles with waking up.

It doesn't keep time accurately anymore. It's too slow. I set it, and it's off by an hour about 2 days later. Also, I found setting this thing to be weird and not intuitive. Wouldn't recommend. Buy a better, more expensive alarm clock, or buy something cheaper and more primitive. I once bought a $5 alarm clock from Walmart that ran off 1 double A battery for 2-3 years. I recommend that thing over this.

It has more "bells and whistles" than I need so for now, until I get used to using it, I have a learning curve to get around. P.S. I'm 75 years old. I do like the light I can read by before going to sleep.

I like it for the most part, but once in a while the light comes on but the sounds doesn't come on.

If you are hard to wake up like my daughter, it will still not work. She sleeps right through it all. Spray Water bottle works best and less money.
