I never write reviews but this is the best thumb splint ever.
I sprained the outside of my thumb a few months ago on the IP joint (towards the tip of the thumb) and I've been searching for a decent thumb splint ever since. I've tried at least 5 different ways to splint my thumb and most make it unusable to use a mouse, or others weren't as supportive. This splint is the only one that protects my thumb, reduces/nearly eliminated swelling, and allows me to comfortably use my hand for nearly 8-12 hours a day (and at night). It has a metal piece in it that's wrapped in felt which honestly makes it really quite comfortable. I do take breaks from wearing it so I don't get stiffness in my thumb. The only negative is if I make it too tight to make my thumb as straight as possible, I can get a little mark/slight soreness on the top of my thumb where the black band is. But it's a very little price to pay for being able to actually use my thumb! My thumb seems to be healing (still swelling on and off some) but I'm not sure it would have if not for this splint! I'm even able to play FPS videogames with this splint on, much easier than any other ones, and I'm going to try playing pickleball next with it on. Also, like others said, you can wear this in the shower (which is good because warm water makes injuries swell up), and because there's 5 of the splints, I just switch it out to a dry one when I'm done. One thing I should note is that there is a relatively strong chemical smell on these, but I only notice it when I'm sleeping at night when my hand's next to my face. If you air them out for a day or two they don't smell as bad, but even ones I have used for a while still have a very faint "lingering" smell if you put your nose up to them.Absolutely the best thumb splint I've ever used.

Fits well, easily adjustable
I recently broke a tendon and caused "mallot finger" in my middle finger. I bought several types of supports to try and these worked best. They can fit either tightly or loosely depending on how you pull the velcro, yet they keep the knuckle straightened for better healing (hopefully). I really like that they are small enough to cover only one finger joint so that I can maintain movement in the other joint. The metal support piece can easily be slid out, for drying or to adjust bend angle.

Good for what I needed
Good for what I needed. I wanted it for an arthritic finger to play tennis. I had to remove the metal brace and the pouch it goes into so it would allow my finger to flex somewhat. Works pretty good with the modifications.

Good basic finger splint
Good quality for basic DIP splint. I wasn’t able to use it tho because there is absolutely no padding so it hurt my injured finger, but might be okay for fingers that are not swollen. Would be better too if the strap was able to stretch a bit.

Great Trigger finger relief
I have trigger finger on my right ring finger and these are an absolute need. You get a pack of ten so I wear one till it's dirty than put another one on and continue this until I have a few to wash then air dry and they wash great. I put them into a bag so the velcro doesn't stick to a shirt or them get lost. I wear them during the day and take it off at night so my finger can relax, they say in medical info the opposite but I need the support while I'm using my hand so it doesn't lock up and I've had two cortisone shots. I highly reccomend these for anybody who has trigger finger on any finger as they are adjustable.

They work well
These are a good value and they work well. I wear a couple at night to keep my fingers from closing and locking. My disappointment comes from the fact that they fray at the edges a little,; the Velcro tore off one, but I was able to reattach it (because it's Velcro). They get a little warm and sticky after a while because there's a shiny plastic material that touches the finger. I think a bit of baby powder might elevate this problem. All-in-all, they eliminate waking up with a locked finger and that's value enough.
