Not really designed for diabetic supplies & testing supplies at the same time.If you remove the insert, of course, there's room, but took this discretion as "roomy" which with a meter, it is not.

This Insulin Cooler Travel Case is perfect for Diabetics who need to store and transport their insulin with them to work locations, vacations, outings with family or friends, etc.The case is small but holds all of the items you need with space for insulin, needles, candy or glucose tablets and even small blood monitors with supplies.Just like with any type cooler, using the travel case is easy. You just freeze the blue ice section in the refrigerator overnight (minimum of 7 hours), remove from the freezer and give it 10 minutes at room temperature before placing your insulin inside. It will keep items inside cool for a maximum of 6-8 hours long, depending on the outside temperature.The bag itself is also discreet and no one would know what was in the bag until it was opened.For the cost of $18.99, this is a durable, well-made piece of equipment that every Diabetic who uses insulin should have.My only concerns with the product did not have any instructions. Other than that, this is a great product that will come in handy over the summer when I plan to travel.

The tray for the insulin doesn't stay cold for long enough. After storing the tray in the freezer and putting in the carrier, it defrosts too quickly. Very disappointed in its proformance.
