Buttery Smooth Action!
For $50 show me another knife with this smooth and action! Seriously! It’s smoother than many of my other “high end” knives! CJRB hit it out of the park with this one! Shaving sharp out of the box, great feel and shape, deep carry pocket clip, the perfect size blade, not too big, not too small. I would give this knife 10 stars if I could! I now own three CJRB knives and I have liked every one, this one takes the cake though. I have been using there AR RPM9 steel in the other knives and it is a great steel. The edge retention is decent for my use. It sharpens well and takes a razor sharp edge so no real complaints for the price. Seriously worth the coin! Thank you CJRB!

I like the color
My one complaint is the smudges my fingers leave behind. I hope it’s real titanium. Feels good in had. Wish it was a tad bit bigger, handle wise. Super sharp. Love love the color. One I purchased this model. Mainly the handle style and color. See how it olds up. Be a nice EDC knife. Not a utility knife really. The knife is very very thing and sharp. The action is super fun. I enjoy playing with it. The knife is smooth in all aspects. The flow and feel. I really like the company. The soft case is legit. I like the cloth included. I hope to purchase another one some time soon. Easy to open and close. Edge is if very fine and sharp like a razor but thicker. Smaller than it looks in the picture. None the less. A great mid size medium EDC. I hope the come out with a bigger version. Same color handle different color blade. Very easy to use.

Excellent budget knife
I bought this knife about two weeks ago and have used it basically daily since it arrived. It is very useful and is a good value for the price, in my opinion. I like the weight, shape, color, and the handfeel of the handle. I also appreciate the button lock and the clip, the shape of the blade, and its durability. Easy open and close and it clips tight with the pocket clip. My only concern is that the knife wasn't really at a brand new sharpness when it arrived (did not pass the "can it slice off any arm hair?" test). Test cuts on cardboard, paper, and fabric started sharp then showed tearing/roughness for the second 20% of the blade, then were fairly clean the rest of the way down. I don't mind having to sharpen my own knives but I do think a new one should be super sharp when it arrives. I would recommend this knife if you're on a budget but still want a reliable and sturdy cutter.

Lots of good and only a little needs improvement
The media could not be loaded. I like the solid aluminum build quality, the shape of the blade, and the sharpness out of the box. The button lock is solid, holding the extended blade firmly locked in place, but easily unlocking. The deep pocket clip holds tight in your pocket, but with the screws being mounted flush with the clip and the smooth aluminum sides, it doesn't wear out the hem of your pocket. A press of the lock button and a flick of the wrist deploys the blade with a satisfying click.I have one wish on the knife. It would be a big improvement if it had a thumb stud on the blade, as other models of Pyrites do. I didn't notice that this model doesn't come with a thumb stud when I ordered it. Not a big deal but definitely missed. There is one problem. The detent doesn't grab the blade when you unlock the blade and flip it closed reliably. It often bounces back it. (See video) I have seen some other models of Pyrite reliable click into the detent and hold the blade closed.

Quality better than expected
It is a great EDC knife. It feels and looks like a more expensive knife than it is. The mechanism is very smooth. I also like the locking mechanism, it is similar to “bench made” axis lock.

Beautiful, Inexpensive Gentleman's Folder
Action is butter. More spydieflickable than most spydercos. Button lock easy to time for deploy or close. Well balanced with Ti scales. Fit and finish great. Purple accent on pivot and screws reminiscent of tanzanite, but not gaudy. Good to great slicer considering geometry, came sharp, full deep carry clip. Not a hard use knife, even though medium blade stock, and scales are slippery. Perfect for office edc and can dress up to white tie. Can't tell how finish will wear or judge the steel yet as have only had for a day, but it took a stupid sharp edge with .5 micron and bare leather strop... considering another one in micarta or G10 for town/everyday edc.

Great knife.
This is a great knife. I love the modified sheeps foot blade. Super thin geometry. The titanium scales look very cool and are comfortable. I had some lock-stick at first, but it went away with break in. The action is extremely smooth. I find that this is often the knife I reach for daily from my collection.

CJRB Pyrite-Alt: A Sophisticated Blade with a Tough Side
The CJRB Pyrite-Alt is the kind of knife that looks sophisticated but fights like John Wick in a three-piece suit. That 3.11" AR-RPM9 Wharncliffe blade has a clean stonewashed finish, giving it that “polished but dangerous” vibe—kind of like a hitman at a fancy cocktail party. And if you opted for the rose blade version, congrats—you now own a knife that’s both sharp and refined… but still tough. The steel handle gives it a solid, weighty feel without being a brick in your pocket. The button lock? Butter-smooth. You can flick it open and shut all day, and let’s be honest—you probably will. It’s the fidget toy for men who like their accessories to be both fun and functional.Final Verdict:The Pyrite-Alt is a sleek assassin of an EDC knife—sharp, smooth, and ready for action. Whether you're opening packages or looking cool while flipping it open, this blade delivers. John Wick would approve. Score: 9/10 🔪🔥
