Great, great, great!!!
There isn't a single thing that I dislike about this tent! It is the easiest tent I have ever assembled. It is large and luxurious. I love that I can walk in this tent and not be slumped over. I'm 5'4" and can stand straight up and walk from one side of the tent to the other without the ceiling of the tent touching my head. We used it on our trip to Yellowstone and it withstood rainy conditions for an entire week, keeping the inside completely dry. We put two queen size mattresses inside and had so much extra room that we could put them side by side on one half of the tent and fit two more queen mattresses on the other side if we wanted to. Great qualify and was perfect for our family of 5!

Not for cold weather or blowing rain/wind conditions.
Family of 4 (including 2 teenage sons) using 4 twin-sized air mattresses. Finally! Something roomy! We've cracked the REAL person-capacity code for tents: 4-person = 2 people, roomy.. 8-person = 4 people, tight, minimal gear.. 12-person = 4 people, roomy, walking space, staging space. Look at the tent capacity image.. IT'S 12 OOMPA-LOOMPAS!! No way you can have 12 normal-sized humans in that thing unless everyone's in a sleeping bag and packed in like a dozen tamales. No way.Very sturdy. The frame alone is very sturdy. Set up is relatively quick.. 2 competent adults might do it.. easier with 3, really 4 competent adults otherwise you could damage the structure or tent fabrics by letting one end plummet or apply awkward pressures to the structural roof supports' joints. Kind of an important thing if you plan on using it more than once.. Once the guy wires were staked in the ground, there was no doubt this tent's sturdiness.ABOUT STAKES.. Get some new ones. Unless you're camping in your perfectly groomed backyard, the short smooth chrome stakes are worthless. Found that out real quick when we set-up at the campsite. The tent area was a elevated platform area with a very fine gravel mix-- perfect for drainage, not perfect for those cheap stakes. Luckily, the campsite's registration building had tent supplies, and I bought those chunky, yellow stakes. Bought enough to stake the tent and each guy wire. They have stakes that screw in, some super gnarly ones-- those we're my next (more expensive option), but the yellow ones did absolutely PERFECTLY! Knocked them in with my mini-sledge with ease.. both wet gravel and wet dirt/grass/rooted surfaces.NOT A COLD WEATHER TENT OR BLOWING RAIN TENT!! HEAT RISES, COLD FALLS. Didn't notice it in the pics, but the entire roof system is bug netting screen material. Perfect for keeping bugs out and summer/ spring camping. Cold wind? Not so much. I could almost see the cold air come into the tent like 'Final Destination'.... Plus, we had blowing cold rain one night.. not fun as it blew under the tent's rain fly. Our propane heater could barely keep up as all the warm output was going right out the top of the tent.BOTTOMLINE: Roomy tent. Pretty easy set-up. Sturdy as heck. Not for cold camping. Rain fly needs improvement especially at the large entry points into the tent. Stakes suck.

Exactly what I hoped for: good quality for price and very roomy
We have camped twice with this tent now. We comfortably fit me, Dad and nine children of all ages, AND our gear, with plenty of room to spare. I love the open screen ceiling for ventilation and seeing stars & trees, but the walls are a great windbreak, and held up nicely. The rain cap is good shade in the daytime, and we only popped one connector loop (easy to fix), on the door shade part, when a huge gust came through. It feels durable, stakes down easily and solidly, and is overall user-friendly: my teens did all the setup and taking down.

Excellent tent!
We used this recently. We arrived when a storm was moving in. We got it up in time and I’m glad we had practiced before we got out there. This tent kept us dry. It’s very spacious and exactly what we were looking for. Great tent, easy setup and take down.

Excellent spacious tent, very sturdy, easy setup.
We have a family of six with four children about the same age and this tent was great for us. My husband and I had a queen size mattress in the section divided off, so the photo of the inside of the tent is showing the remainder of the tent not including that divided section. The tent is so tall that I had to stand on my tiptoes to hook a tent divider up and I am 5 foot seven. We had the option of keeping the rain fly off and looking up at the stars through the mesh roof, but when it got cold we put on the rain fly and turned on a tent heater since the night was in the 30s or below. There was plenty of room for our for children to spread out without being on top of each other. We loved the idea that we could have a tent large enough to pull chairs inside and eat inside if the weather turned on us. Setting up the tent was pretty easy for my husband and I. We just follow the instructions. The polls are color-coded with these attached plastic joints. Anyone following the instructions should be able to put this tent together quickly. We loved it!

Great tent for the money
Just came home from my first trip with the 12 person tent. Don't normally write Amazon reviews but so happy with my purchase I thought I would this time.I've never setup or owned this style of tent before so decided to do a trial run in my yard prior to our family camping trip. Set up was really easy once you get the hang of it. I had one defective corner connector but was able to modify it to work. I emailed customer service week and a half ago and have yet to get that resolved. While I had it up I decided to spray everything with a water repellent just in case. I was going to also seal the seams but everything seemed to be taped pretty good. While on our trip we got rained on multiple times including a torrential downpour for about 20 minutes. No leaks and tent handled the wind well too. Did have one tent stake loop break but may have been my fault and is easy to fix.Even with the couple issues I am really pleased with my purchase. Very roomy, good value, good build quality, decent amount of features, lots of windows/ventilation. I'm considering buying a second, smaller Core tent to use when I have less people.
