This is actually my second purchase. I have one at home that I have been using for several months and have been thoroughly impressed by the ease of use. So, I decided to purchase one to keep at work. You cigar enthusiast know sometimes on your lunch break you swing in to check out your local cigar shop, so you've got to have somewhere to keep them until you leave! I will say that I have found it somewhat difficult to steady the humidity using the provided water bin so on the new one I only used it for the seasoning of the unit (first 4-5 days) and then pulled it out and threw in a couple of large 69% Boveda packs and it works beautifully!

This thing is terrible. It absolutely is the worst. It is impossible to get the humidity under control. I have struggled with it from day one. With nothing inside I let this humidor run for a few days and the RH got up to 82%! Usually you have problems raising the RH, this one makes its own, and boy does it make a lot of it. There is no way I can store my cigars in this. Surprisingly, the temperature was spot on and the touch controls worked flawlessly. I tried to return it as it is eligible for returns but you would have to pay to return it. I complained and after many emails with the company telling them it was defective they did agree to give me a 100% full refund and I didn't have to send it back, but what a pain that was. I shouldn't have to argue with a company about a defective unit. They actually gave me the option of a refund or a new unit. After my bad experience I just wanted my money back. Just for the heck of it, I still haven't thrown this humidor out just to see if it will ever get under control and it has not. I've had it for a little over a month now and the humidity has never gotten under control. Stay away from this. You have been warned.

Exactly as described, great item for the price

The refrigerator is always on. The ambient temperature is 75 or so, and the Needone is set to 70, but the display shows the current temperature at 63. Way too cold for cigars. EDIT: This thing is a POS and does not work as advertised/ You will not be refunded the initial value. I identified a legitimate problem with the unit, was told to just unplug it. That is not a valid solution. Lost $70 for taking a chance. Will never buy a Needone again.
