Good and not so bad review
the courier only delivers to the door, so I had to unpack each package and carry the items up stairs. The instruction leaflet is very basic, it just shows a diagram and the parts to use. It took an afternoon to move all the items upstairs and to sort them out, next day to assemble, help from Nephew in law to stand the wardrobe upright and put it in place. It looks good, and the wife is pleased.

Dont Buy
To start off with the delivery service is misleading even no it was refunded, took over a week to be delivered when I selected 2 days, the wardrobe it self had broken parts even though the packing was not damaged at all, got the parts re sent with out much problem but they then took another week and they were still damaged at the corners and the wood chip inside exposed where coating (Vanier?) was peeling off, once built doesn't feel very strong, the rail and supports supplied aren't very good so replaced them with a high quality, the mirrors in the doors don't fit right, you only get what you pay for but this was abit disappointing.

I like it but...
Well I have mixed emotion about this piece. If you looking for simple budget wardrobe than this is good but "keep for life" piece this is not. And another thing its not Oak its Oak finish.Price: £600 pre sale?? I don't think so. Don't believe this woudl be worth that money pre sale. this is slightly misleading, tought im buying much better quality piece (-1 star)Materials: Was expecting much better quality especially that original price did state £600 (-1 star)Assembly: Dead easy :) I think this is first piece I put together and all parts were there and not one piece damaged or deformed, very good instructions and numbering of pieces definitely elped a lot (+1 star)Delivery: Delivered in one piece (well 3 boxes) on time even tho had to take it upstairs myself (delivery man very politely advised only ground floor deliver - fair comment) (+1 star)Finish Product: Once all up it does look nice, doors (to my surprise) perfectly aligned and plenty of storage (+1 star)

Not quite of the quality I was hoping for.
I have thought long and hard about the review for this wardrobe and I hope it is fair. Firstly I want to start off with tops marks for customer service. One of the panels was damaged and upon contacting to seller they sent a new panel right away with no quibbling. However, and please note this was my error, this wardrobe is NOT oak, it IS oak effect. Due to not reading the reviews or the product description correctly I assumed it was solid oak and it isn't - it is chipboard with a thin oak effect covering.Construction: It took 2 of us about 5 hours to put it together. Due to it being chipboard when tightening the screws you need to screw them in firmly, but do NOT over tighten as if over tightened the screws will eat the chipboard and become loose. We used wood glue, as we do with all flat-packs, on all the dowels, which adds extra strength. Not all the diagrams are clear and you need to use some logic and look very closely at the diagrams to figure out what to do to build it. Once completed it is quite heavy and moving it into position can be difficult. In doing so, in our case, some of the chipboard on the bottom of the side panels tore away, even though we had put on the plastic protector (which are next to useless). However, now it is up and in place it is sturdy, the doors hang nicely and the drawers slide smoothly. Overall I am pleased with the purchase, but would have preferred something of slightly better quality for the money.

Great product
This is a very well made piece of furniture - solid wood. It definitely takes 2 people to assemble it. It is very heavy when fully assembled. Be careful when fixing the drawer runners to the carcass. It is possible (as we did) to get this wrong and not very easy to correct once the whole carcass is assembled. [We ended up trying all 4 possible combinations of drawer runner position before we got it right!]. Also make sure you have tightened up all the screws and bolts - they require quite a bit of effort and are essential for the stability of the wardrobe. We are delighted with this wardrobe and would recommend it highly.

Beware delivery damage and risk of hernia!
Very heavy (100kg), stylish, but corner joints are weak, resulting in flimsy finished item. The delivery packaging is dreadful, no corner protection, so major damage to two large components and lots of other bruising. First consignment of replacement parts similarly packed, so even more damage than the original! Eventually third time lucky, but it's still the flimsiest flat pack I've ever assembled, far more so than Ikea for example. It's been a major disappointment, and I now plan to replace it with a piece of real furniture from a second hand shop.

Can’t complain. Great for the price
Bought 2 - one for each child’s bedroom. I can’t complain for the price - feel solid and sturdy enough and we’re simple enough to build.

A most satisfied customer, l completed the assembly of this 'robe myself, though a little help would have made it a little quicker, so if that might be included in the detailed instructions, a few more words also might help , instead of just 'boxes' and - - - - -' s. All parts easily identifiable and numbered . A very sturdy and attractive piece of furniture.
