The softgels are small and easy to swallow with no aftertaste. I have been taking them for a few weeks mostly for eye strain from screen time. Hard to say how much of a difference it is making yet but I have not had any side effects.The higher dose is convenient since you only need to take one daily. Like most supplements, it will probably take longer to really notice any bigger changes.Simple option if you want to try astaxanthin without having to take multiple pills.

I've had an issue with fatigue for quite awhile, regardless of how much sleep I've had.Maybe it's my imagination, but since I started taking this Astaxanthin by NOW, my energy has significantly improved.I'm not running marathons, mind you, but I am able to get more done without feeling I'm doing it by sheer will.It took a couple of weeks before I noticed the change. I plan to continue to take it because I believe the full effects will be felt even more in a couple of months.

This is the REAL DEAL. This product is authentic and good quality. However, we made the mistake of purchasing another brand that claimed to have 24mg astaxanthin, but turned out to have little to NO astaxanthin. This NOW brand product is more expensive, but worth it! There's no point paying for a non-authentic, fraudulent product. NOW brands is trustworthy, and we've had the best experience with them, this product and many others. The capsules in this product are dark red and opaque as they should be. BEWARE of the others whenever you buy astaxanthin!

I’ve taken Astax every day for years, no issues honestly. A good addition to any antioxidant routine as Astax regenerates other antioxidants and itself does not become a pro-oxidant which is awesome!
