I purchased this device to use as a travel hair styler. It is light and compact. I did not use it until 32 days after purchase, while traveling. On the 2nd use it sparked and began to smoke. Amazon would not accept a return replace request because I was past the 30 days. They gave me a customer service link to Conair. I have just been advised that they will replace the defective device with a new one. I am happy to say it has all been resolved and I am thankful. I expect to give this item a 5 star based on family members who own one and my satisfaction with the customer service process.

I liked the results I got. It is suitable for touch-ups on non-wash hair days, too. This is a good idea, but the placement of the buttons is not good. It is easy to shut it off by mistake and turn it to a higher temperature you may not want. I would relocate them to a less accessible area. When holding the paddle, it is easy to hit the temperature buttons and shut it off or turn it up in temperature. The buttons are a light touch button and easy to hit. This is not a good idea for someone new to this product type. A more skilled person who can work it and pay attention to not accidentally change the settings or shut it off is much better. I do not think anyone young should use this as they may burn their hair, neck, and face. This item should be supervised to avoid that. Although I had to learn not to hit the buttons, I did not return it because it does what I need. It is good for complete styling and/or a quick touch up.

I used to have a L'ange Levolume 60mm which recently died. I was in the market for a new hot air dryer brush and I have shorter fine hair so I tried this one. First of all it is only 600 watts and does not blow much hot air. 2nd as I was using it my hand would touch the on off dial and accidently turn it to lower speed. 3rd It does not have a piece on the end to hold it with in the non using hand. I did like the size of the barrel. I ultimately went with the conair infinity pro knot Dr in small. It is amazing!

Great. My tween daughter loves it and it curls nice and tight on her hair.

My short, fine, wavy, dry hair needs volume, not curl. Various blowdryer brushes have worked over the years, but lately my full-sized version been damaging my hair - drying it out and leaving split ends - probably too hot and powerful. I have confidence in this brand so tried this brush hoping the small size and lower power might work better. I was put off at first by the oval brush shape (looked much too big for my hair), but tried it anyway and am amazed at the results. Now I have the right amount of power and heat - the oval brush reaches to the roots of my hair, lifting it away from my head and drying it with volume -exactly what I need. I am amazed and really pleased - highly recommend.

I bought this despite a lack of reviews and information online. It turned out to be a pretty good dryer. Lightweight, foldable, not too loud and comes with a cold shot button. It dries my thick long hair pretty fast if I dry it with a towel first. The only downside is that the switch is a slider and can be hard to slide. Docked a star for thatOverall, if you need a foldable hair dryer, I’d say try this out.Edit:Handle became hot two months after buying. Opened it up and found the insulation tube broke. I’ll probably get a new heat shrink tubing, but the fact it broke seems to mean it’s generating more heat at that point than it should. It’s a safety hazardEdit 2Babyliss sent me a new one under warranty, but I've noticed a burnt plastic smell from time to time of using it. It's not just a safety hazard but also a health hazard. STAY AWAY.
