A line of torrone covered with bright colors and original packaging. the lighter weight makes it ideal for a special item in gift boxes. Serrapetrona, a very small enchanting mountain village situated in the Macerata territory, is famous for the production of the Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, unique D.O.C.G. sparkling wine, well-known worldwide for a special triple fermentation processing of the autochthonous species of vine having the same name. Here the Quacquarini family has always distinguished itself by its historic exclusive wine production, to which they wanted to add the confectionery line about twenty years ago. It is important to specify that the family started this new activity with the same craft style and with the usual strict meticulous processing based on a creative job interpretation capacity. It is curious to know that, during the different festivities, the greediest used to dunk the must doughnuts or other small dried sweets in the Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, to exalt their taste and flavours. Why not creating Vernaccia-flavoured doughnuts or going on producing sweets, in particular considering the numerous recipes available in this region? So the Quacquarini Confectionery Company was established to become very soon a reference point in the craft industry of the sector, as often happens when you put passion in your own job. Today Enea Gentili, as a family member and excellent master chocolatier, is able to copes well both with the classical production of dried sweets and with the preparation of new creations. New original chocolate products are created and other traditional recipes are reinvented, as the home-made torrone "Madonna della Neve", whose name comes from an ancient little church situated between Camerino and Serrapetrona, that is produced with natural ingredients only following faithfully the ancient recipe. And finally it's worth saying that the excellent home-made production can make taste and spirit delights sublime.
