It seems it is most likely the cable that ceases to function and not the base, as was the case with myself. It is probably just as well as it is difficult to find new bases. A word of warning if you phone the manufacturers for a product do not phone the number they give you (their suppliers) as the call costs a fortune and they never answer phone anyway. I made 2 unanswered calls and they cost more than the cable. So buy it from Amazon and save your money!

The lead had a break in the wire at the phone terminal end which meant that charging station was useless. The replacement lead solves the problem at a reasonable cost.

Unfortunately both base units were faulty & did not work, however, I was given a full no quibble refund.....unfortunately I haven't been able to source this replacement part anywhere else

Not compatible with my Gigaset C475 phone although I checked and was reassured by email that it was
