Very handy sander
This little sander is a very handy tool. Being cordless makes it easy to take to the work, and even in the shop it's nice not having a cord to mess with (not a big problem, but still...) If you already own other PC 20V tools, buying it bare saves the expense of a charger and battery(ies). Battery life varies with use, but I'm usually working with finer grits and it seems adequate. On my latest project, a cabinet 21" x 54", I got through a couple of grades before changing the battery. For heavier grits, I use a corded sander. Actually, a couple of corded sanders--which raises a point about this one: if I was going to be doing a lot, I would really consider buying a couple more of them and putting progressively finer grits on them. Changing the hook and loop paper isn't hard, and, really, you usually finish with one grit before moving to the next, but I find just grabbing a different sander a nice way to avoid stopping between grits. At the price of the bare tool, it wouldn't be prohibitive to own three. In fact, I may buy the 5" cordless orbital for pretty much that reason. Then again, the shape of this one is nice for getting into corners.

Good buy
This was a great addition to my set. This was a great cost compared to by local hardware store and came in just in time for a project. It came with several sanding pads that works just fine for my project.

Solid little tool
Decent little fella. Exactly what I needed. I hate dragging a corded tool and extension cord around..so this was ideal. I will say the batteries only last for 30 minutes or so, but if you are anything like me, you don't like sanding for all that long anyway lol. I bought multiple batteries so I can just swap out if need be. The tip does wear down fast, as to be expected. It did come with some replacement parts..but I will most likely need to find out where to order more. It hooks up to my shop vac, which is great for minimizing dust. Overall, a solid purchase.

Good but not as good as it could be
Very light weight and easy to use. Sand paper sticks to it well and very easy to remove. Can get into tight areas and does a good job. The only bad part of it is the dust collector attachment doesn’t fit well to the sander. Not a very tight seal. It does what the average homeowner needs.

Great sander
I have bought into the PG tools and this is a great addition. I wait to write reviews after getting to use the product. I am late on these. This have been a work horse for my staycation house work. Love the ability to catch the saw dust.

Works Great!
I LOVED the way this sander worked! It was so much better than my older corded one.Until it just stopped working, still unsure why.I've always had Great luck with Porter Cable tools, and I will definitely try another one of these!

Sad to see porter-cable go, great tools
I've really enjoyed the porter-cable 20v line. I hate to set it go. I picked up this tool to add to the set. My daughter and I have both used it once. I think it's a great value.

Nice add to my collection
I have almost all the PC 20V tools except for this. Now that I have it, I regret not getting it sooner. It took my 10-minute sanding job down to a 30-second job. The motor is strong and does what it's designed to do.
