Full Moon Chicken Jerky Tenders Healthy All Natural Dog Treats Human Grade Made in USA 26 oz

I use these amazing treats for my dogs, and when I volunteer at my local animal shelter. It is VERY fun to spoil the shelter dogs with these. They LOVE them. A year ago, there was a beautiful great dane mix that they had to euthanize due to deteriorating joints. The shelter staff bought him several Big Macs, and a bucket of fried chicken before putting him to sleep, and he totally ignored them. I gave him half a bag of these Full Moon treats and he gobbled them down. The staff was shocked! I am super grateful to the company who produces these for their high quality and affordability.

Healthy treats for our bulldog, he loves the flavors, chicken flavor more so than the duck. But he enjoyed his treats. Sealable bag for freshness. Very fresh at all times. No bad odor, affordable, Not hard, very chewy. Perfect size for a delightful treat.

First and foremost: I have an 8 year old Rough Collie. He's a sweetie...but very picky when it comes to food and treats. He is definitely not food motivated. He can be treat motivated IF the treats are tasty enough. To date, he only really likes two types of treats: Soft peanut butter type treats and meat/jerky style treats. I've bough the Full Moon brand treats for the last three years - especially after the Pampered Pooch Peanut Butter treats are no longer available. Here are some key items I (and my dog) love about these: 1) Soft and chewy yet can easily be broken down (or cut with kitchen shears like I do) 2) A very good jerky smell without anything odd (i..e. formaldehyde type smell) 3) Wholesome. Made from real beef in the USA - not imported from China with who knows what included 4) Human grade. Yup, I've even nibbled on a few to check for palatability. 5) Awesome value. Not cheap, however when you get 24 ounces for this price it goes a long, long way! 6) Real, jerky meat appearance - not some weird shelf-stable slim-jim appearance 7) My dog loves them! He knows if he goes outside to go bathroom I will give him a 1/4 of a strip - sometimes he fakes it! 8) I've never had any negative reaction from my dog - no diarrhea, upset stomach, etc. 9) It is one of the few treats he likes. My vet tries to give him Milk Bones or other over-processed chews. He simply spits those out I really hope this brand stays on Amazon for a long, long time for the sake of my best friend

My dog loves these treats. These are not dry and crunchy. They are a little on the softer side so I can tear them in half if I want to, and it makes it easy for my dog to eat. I first tried them because they are made in the USA. I recommend these treats.

We purchased both beef and chicken jerky tenders. Delivery arrived as promised. As soon as we opened the box our dog ran to the bags. Our dog is finicky eater because she was raised eating human grade meats from the start. Of course the plan was she not eat people food. Then we read ingredients. Basically it’s all the leftover animal parts USA laws prohibit feeding to people and it’s priced like expensive steaks. I just said no. It’s far better and cheaper to buy and cook for our “whole” family. She’s a small dog. The little plastic ziplocks for snacks are perfect size for 3 days of meals. She eats a wet/dry combo 2 times per day. I portion her meats into the baggies then freeze. Put one baggie in the fridge to thaw as needed. I preheat a covered frying pan on medium heat. Cube and cook the meat for a minute. Then turn off the heat and let it finish cooking. Total cook time is less than 3 minutes by oven. It’s 30 seconds by microwave. Then let stand to cool. Full Moon is 100% human grade meats grown, sourced, and manufactured in the USA. No fillers, preservatives, colors, flavors, enrichments, or antibiotics. The animal sources are USA ranch raised without antibiotics. “Our treats are human grade, which means we only use ingredients fit for human consumption. If it isn’t good enough for us, it isn’t good enough for our pets.” I completely agree. Crude Protein is 20%. Crude Fat 15%. Crude Fiber 2%. Moisture 20%. The bag size is 24 oz (680g). Our dog is not obese, plump, or gaining. Our dog loves them. When she hears the bag she’s there instantly. The tenders are not chewing treats like rawhides or dehydrated. They are firm. Not hard, sticky, or leaves residue. We teach her to take little bites by hand feeding because I watched her bite a huge chunk and swallow it. This is my only caution. Either break them into smaller chunks or hand feed which teaches them to bite off smaller pieces. Sometimes pets want to swallow without chewing. Possible choking is the primary reason why we watch her eat and play with toys. She’s our fur-girl. Full Moon has great quality treats at affordable prices for a good quantity - larger than 1-pound bags. I hope they stay true to their standards, ownership, and purpose. More importantly, I hope other merchants don’t commercialize this into another high priced brand. Instead, we need more companies to provide more affordable high quality products to working pet owners. It’s not another investment. This is another food we buy for our family. It’s another way to reduce the number of abandoned pets. I strongly recommend Full Moon jerky tenders and also taking cautions to prevent choking. But if your pet chokes just remember the Heimlich and other first aid techniques works for them too.
