This has been a great buy product it has killed many flies in the house and works best later on in the day when it's a bit darker , it can be quite loud when killing a fly , I have jumped on a few occasions when it's went off , it cleans well the fly's lay on a little tray that u can easily pull out and put them in the bin , easy to install brightness very good bit not blinding it's like an additional light in my kitchen it's not too overwhelming and was great price too.

Got this for the summer months, we live in a rural area so flies are common., we got this to replace our previous one that had done three summers , this one hasn't managed one summer , one of the bulbs lasted until August and the second one has died.Also wasn't very effective for the first few weeks , flies would just ignore it, didn't feel bright enough to be honest, the previous zapper would be popping flies almost as soon as they came inside .It's easy to use ,it's compact in size, it is quite loud when it pops a fly, but I don't expect to have to be replacing lamps after such a short time frame ,and the lamps are almost asuch as the unit cost wise .

The product is ideal for our kitchen, which has seen a lot of flies etc since the warmer weather arrived. Very quickly, it attracted and killed a number of flies. Good value for money.However, the supplied instructions are incorrect. As supplied, there was a foam pad between the tubes, which needed to be removed. There is no mention of this in the instructions, so I followed the procedure for accessing the tubes for replacement. This, according to the instructions, involved removing the side bars by taking out some screws. No! All that needs to be done is to unclip the front grille, remove the pad, and replace the grille. This is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars from me.

This thing is great. Just plug in and go. We have fly problems in the summer as where we live backs into fields with water running through it. It’s a nightmare every year I’ve tried everything you can think of and this year I decided to go for a zapper this one was reasonably priced for our first one. As soon as we plugged it in zap zap zap. Some are loud and make you jump but it’s worth it. One tip don’t leave your window open at night or you will end up with the cast of bugs life dead in your zapper 😂. 100% recommendation from me.

This worked really good when both bulbs work.Unfortunately one of the bulbs didn't last long and second bulb went short after all within 3 months of purchase.I always clean the grid with device powered off but for some reason this time when I was passing the brush in the grid I noticed one of the bulbs sparked and stop working.To me this says the circuit is not protected by switching the power button off. Not sure if mine is defected but now I have a non functioning device.

We havent really had so much of a summer this year and as such the flies have not been a major issue, but with having pets they still attract a fair share of flys in certain areas.This is a useful, low profile, quiet way to get rid of them without any harsh sprays and is effective in keeping wandering unwelcome visitors out of the kitchen and eating areas.It hangs by a chain, so it is as easy to hang as mounting a picture and its quiet - the only sound coming when it deals with an intruder...This would be ideal in a cafe or a shop where open food is prepped or served, but for us it just serves as a simple, clean way to get rid of unwanted germ spreaders.

This worked well initially but broke within a year. The bulbs failed and afterwards it wouldn't light new bulbs.
