Great product.
Firstly my dog (siberian husky) needed this item as she has severely damaged her tendons and ligaments in her wrist and also has a hairline fracture within the joint so has to keep her carpal joint immobilised. (there's currently a possibility that she needs her joint fused). She was having her whole leg splinted via the vet, but the vets splints caused pressure sores and very inflamed skin which made my dog uncomfortable so she kept chewing the dressings off. I took it on myself to buy this product for my dog, and told the vet afterwards, it only took 4 day's to get here, it even came with an English translation. Both myself and my vet is very happy with this product, to the point that my vet possibly wants to invest in some. The carpal brace is doing its job well as it's stopping my dogs wrist from moving sideways and her sore skin has mostly healed due to the bandage part being breathable. The only issue I currently have is that my dog has chewed the top of the bandage part to try to get to the pressure sores she still has, however even though she's put her teeth marks in it and a small hole from her canine in the bandage part the product is still doing the job it's ment to do. Also this product comes with some more flexible splints as well, (I'm currently using the solid ones) so as her injury heals it can be altered to her needs. 😊 She's now been wearing the carpal brace for 5 days and I couldn't be happier with the product especially as my dog since using this item has started to occasionally try to walk on her hurt leg. It's a great product, I only wish that she could have has this from the start of her treatment as it would have caused much less distress to my dog and no injuries to her skin.

No instructions
I really can't judge this product. The two stars are because I am very irritated that my dog now has to spend more days without a wrist support because I am unclear whether this is the right size for him (I guessed in the end) or indeed how to use it. I have lots of experience of using various braces for my pointer's collapsed carpal ligaments, but I would really like the supplier to send something with the product that indicates how they envisage it being used. The pictures on the Amazon page suggest some bars can be bent to fit around the wrist bones. The bars in my large brace are certainly not long enough to mirror what is done in the illustration. There's also an elasticated strap with no apparent purpose. A proper sizing guide before ordering, some basic instructions in the box please and a product that matches the images online!

No instructions, and both braces failed prematurely!
It is crucial that this kind of support has good instructions, as fitted incorrectly they can cause more harm than good. No instructions were included with my purchase which is disappointing. I had to rely on looking at the pictures on the advert to work out how to fit it which is not ideal. I do feel this product is overpriced for what it is and I reckon I'll be lucky to get much more than a couple of months use out of it before it falls apart. The pictures on the listing shows 2 sets of splints with the brace. A rigid set and a sprung set. This is misleading as the sprung set are not included at all! That said this brace is working very well compared to other braces on the market and so far is the best I've encountered. The material gradually stretches over time and the brace becomes less effective, so for long-term use be prepared to buy replacements quite regularly. Unfortunately the price seems to rise each time i order and will reach a point where I will be looking at alternatives as this brace is by no means perfect! UPDATE. Less than 2 months in and both braces have failed. On one The splint wore through the neoprene material in the inside at the bottom which i notice is not reinforced, and fell out. On the other, the splint wore through the stitching on the sleeve and all support was lost. The seller has a cheek charging almost £50 for such a badly made product.
