Only 5 Strips in Pack!
I haven't yet tried out these inserts, but I am assuming that they work well as others have said.HOWEVER, the item description seems to be misleading. It claims that there are 15 strips, but there are actually 5. I think the intention is that you cut them in thirds or halves, making up to 15 pieces. When I contacted Amazon about my question, they quickly issued me a refund so that I could order another one. (Yay customer service!) But the new pack also came with 5, making me believe that my original order wasn't a mistake.THERE ARE ONLY 5 (~3 inch) STRIPS IN THIS ITEM. Which isn't a problem if you can pop them in the oven to dry them out in between uses, but I am taking these on a trip and want to have plenty on hand without recharging them. So, 5 stars for customer service and 3 stars for the confusing item description. But it's still an inexpensive item, so it's not a big deal to buy 2 or more packs.

Worked great for snorkeling.
These did the trick in a GoPro Hero 2 Dive case. Added two as the instructions stated and each set would last for about a day or two with no fogging up. Took it in and out of A/C, snorkeling, beach, shade and sun, NO fogging at any point. The only thing is that they started to look like ratty cardboard quickly and they generated some dust- That doesn't seem to affect their usability though. I would agree that they need a color change when they're activated or spent.MAKE SURE you activate them in an oven before the first use! It would also help to keep the activated ones in a humidity controlled case (I threw them in a Pelican case with desiccant when not in use)

These inserts need to be prepared before use.
Didn’t read the instructions that the inserts needed to be charged in a microwave before use. Therefore, I wasn’t able to use them on my most recent trip.

Works Great, Just Know How to Use Them
My first experience with anti fog inserts with my GoPro Hero3 did not go so well. The first batch (not this brand) had no instructions on how to insert these into the case, and I wasn't careful to make sure the inserts stayed away from the seal. End result was my case filling up with salt water. My other camera didn't have a failure, but started to fog because I only used one strip on the bottom of the camera. After replacing the camera and doing my homework on how to properly use the anti fog strips, I found that aside from the strip that goes on the bottom, you have to cut or tear another two strips in half (four pieces). Put one on the left side, two on the right, and one on top. Make sure the strips go down far enough to clear the seal, and you're all set for fog free filming. I was 80 feet down and not a trace of fog.So, in short, works great when used properly.

be careful when putting these in your camera. I ...
be careful when putting these in your camera. I believe I got an edge pinched on teh camera housing which caused my camera to flood. User error for sure, just be careful. Go Pro and salt water do not mix.

Still testing but good so far
Good product. Still testing them out but they seem to work well and are reusable. Took them to Whistler but it was so foggy outside that it was hard to tell if the strips were working properly. Seemed like all the moisture was on the outside but as stated...still testing.

Worked well
I did use them and there was no fogging. The only thing was that they leave a white residue on the camera/housing that may get on the inside of the housing and cause visual blemishes. I do not know if the GoPro original ones do the same or not.

Not sure these make any difference
Three of us dove Monterey CA with new Hero 3 Blacks. I was the only one who used antifog pads. They didn't seem to make a difference.
