Q: Does this speaker have the annoying auto sleep function where after 10/15 minutes of inactivity it goes to sleep?

no i have mine on all day in headphone mode

Q: What are the dimensions of the actual speaker (not the packaging)?

I found dimensions on the Edifier website: 359mm×159mm×203.5mm (W×H×D).

Q: Can i rig this speaker up using wires ? Its says line out. But picture says line in ?

I only use it for Bluetooth input but the User Manual shows you how to switch to line input. Two different RCA Audio cables are provided for the input. Very good speaker by the way. I am delighted with it and plan to buy another for my TV.

Q: What is the colour of side wood panels? Is it more oak or walnut like?

Walnut. It looks nicer with the front baffle removed exposing the beautiful speakers. I'm very pleased with my purchase!
