Awesome!!!!
Having owned both the original and the improved Rugby League Live 2 I was keen to see how the latest version rated. This game is made by a small studio that can't compete with the EA games. This was definitely the case with the first two versions but this one really does start to approach that kind of polish.Got to say I'm thoroughly impressed and the improvements are at least not equal to if not greater than the previous leap between the versions.The gameplay is a lot more fluid and flows much better, with the addition of a fixed camera option that I've wanted since the first incarnation. The tackling is superb and you really feel like you are doing something to bring the man down with body, low or dive tackles being a much better option in certain situations. The tackle training game is a lot of fun as well to practice these. The best new feature for me though is superb player career mode allowing you to play one position through the game! Really loved being a fullback and being the last man to stop a line breaker baring down on the try line.The only downsides for me so far are the hopeless player likenesses for the Super League players. This is obviously an Australian game and the NRL players are much better, but the English based players really don't look much like their real selves with the exception of the cool tattoos on Zak Hardaker and Jamie Peacock! :-)This is the best Rugby League game yet and each version seems to be a massive improvement over the last and this is no exception!

At last a rugby league game to compete with that crappy round ball posers game(soccer) and the kick and clap pretend rugby(rugby union) pity ea sports don't see the potential of rugby league but credit to big ant for taking on the challenge and creating a credible game now all we need is a TVs channel to take on the hardest and one of the most challenging sports in the world
