Good joint
Good quality U joint. I installed on my TJ Rubicon front right axel shaft, the old one was not doing so good. It's been a few years in use and it has withstood the abuse from the trails and and miles on road. Still feels solid.

Solid well made
Used in Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 4x4. Good fit and finish. Fit as it should. No complaints at all. Unsure of durability at this point.

Spicer OEM, Install Tips
This fit my 98 XJ with the Dana 30. They’re the Spicer U-Joints so there’s nothing bad to say! (I don’t know if their quality has gone down since the XJ’s were made or not but regardless I chose something decent because I DO NOT wanna do this job again lol) I recommend that you DO NOT install with a press (install with a ball peen hammer if you have one) and install with only one of the two corresponding caps on if that makes sense. I tried it with a press and crushed the seals AND the joint pushed needle out of place so I have to buy a new u-joint for the other side, still cheaper than if I paid a mechanic and now I know something! This is not an exhaustive install guide and there are tips I haven’t mentioned but remember to beat them with your hammer to seat the joints in place so that they move more freely. For what it’s worth the wheel hub stud part (removable from the shaft) had slightly more resistance — that may be an install error but it’s a note in case anyone else was curious so if I installed correctly there is supposed to be slightly more resistance where I mentioned.

Check Each Cap for Metal
The U-joints caps fit well and the needle bearings were in there correct place. The problem was with one of the two I received, it did not have grease in one of the caps. Instead it was full of Swarf, the metal from the machining the arms. I cleaned it out and checked all others. Added new grease and installed they feel correct. Had the metal been left not sure how long it would have been.

Forged U joints for Dana 30
They are an upgrade for my Jeep XJ dana 30 u joints! They should last a ling time, and probably wont be the cause of the next trail repair. Theyre beefy!

Great U-Joint, but does NOT fit 1994 Cherokee
Spicer makes quality U-joints, but the Amazon fitment function is incorrect in this case. I have a 1994 Jeep Cherokee 4x4, and this u-joint was too big for the front axle. I gave it 5 stars, because it's a good U-joint... but I'd give Amazon ZERO stars on their fitment app. I returned the second one I got (for one side), but couldn't return the other, as I had ordered it some time ago. I do believe it may fit one of my drivelines however, but further research is needed. Just beware, and make sure the bearing caps are the right size. In my case, that was (1.0625" = 1 1/16"). As a final note, it may also be a function of which front axle you have.
