I stumbled on these while browsing Amazon & suffering a relentless gut flare up. Even my prescription meds were hardly working. On the same day that I took my first dose of CARNOZIN, the flare up, including my pain & discomfort, stopped. I found this thrilling! During my flare ups I daren't go out for fear of an embarrassing accident. L-Carnosine is an amino acid & when combined with the correct amount of zinc, it offers healing properties. I have suffered from this complaint for several years & reluctantly accepted Mebeverine Pmeds as a flare up aid which slows down gut contractions for a few hours. I also take collagen (from Amazon) which also helps as it contains amino acids but not enough of the carnosine. I also removed Gluten, milk & cream from my diet which greatly helps reduce arthritic pain as well as help gut problems. CARNOZIN on Amazon is currently offered at an affordable price: £9.95 for 30 @ December 2022 or cheaper with S&S which is so important at this time of sky high cost of living & energy prices. I recommend this product & hope this review helps fellow sufferers of IBS, LG & gastritis. 👍🤗

Made my symptoms worse 😒

I suffer from chronic gastritis but with the help of these tablets (and probiotics) I manage to avoid taking prescription medication unless I'm having a severe flare up. I usually take one before my evening meal, which is the meal that causes me that most problems. I sometimes take more than one per day during a severe flare up but wouldn't recommend doing so long term because high levels of zinc can cause a copper deficiency (I take a copper supplement to try to prevent this). Zinc carnosine is well researched and is available on prescription in Japan for people with gastric problems and ulcers - from my own experience (and that of a relative who suffers similarly), I highly recommend trying it if you have the misfortune to suffer from these conditions.

Be careful, it contains dicalcium phosphate, not good for people with hypercalcemia. They didn't let me send it back. Disappointed.

I have been taking these tablets on and off for over two years. When Gastritis flares up I take one morning and evening after my meal. This and Golden Milk, calms things down very quickly for me.
