Fascinations Metal Earth Freightliner COE Truck 3D Metal Model Kit

One of my favorites! Very easy to build, worth it. Fits nicely in my display case. Good quality just wish it was a painted model

I don’t do reviews very often, but ai do read them, mainly the most critical so I understand fully if the product is good or not.With these Metal Earth models, you mist understand they are small, laser cut “blueprints” that require you to bend the pieces to make a 3D model of the item. Even though they say mild to expert, it is meant for experienced model makers who understand that it takes more then a pair of pliers and snips to make these. They are a lesson in patience, and following direction and seeing the better way sometimes of assembling. They are though, a great item and a fantastic testament to engineering to laser cut out small pieces that eventually will become a piece of art. Bottom line, research, go to Metal Earth’s website before buying. They are fun and very satisfying when completed, but, NOT FOR THE BEGINNER MODELER OR A PERSON WHO CANNOT FOLLOW “BLUEPRINTS”.

These are so cool!!! But be ready to have lots of patience! Very, very small detailed work! Definitely will be buying another one!

Can tell this was an older model. Metal was much stiffer than new models, didn’t go to gather as good as painted models. Still turned out ok.

We have done other truck puzzles like this, but these pieces snap and break very easily, even for an adult. We have used other kits without this problem.

The item was fun and entertaining to put together. The truck looks decent put together but some parts feel a little flimsy.
