Beautiful Boards: 50 Amazing Snack Boards for Any Occasion

I bought this book for my daughter-in-law and it is full of wonderful ideas to make special boards. The photos are excellent too.

I absolutely love this book, even though the author is American and a lot of the sweets and themes are not relevant to the UK it has given me lots of tips and inspiration of how to plate my own boards.

The is a beautiful book! It’s not only got amazing ideas for boards for every time of year but it’s the kind of book that you can leave out on display in the kitchen just to look at.

This has been bought as a Christmas present for my sister in law. It is a beautifully presented book, gorgeous cover and some lovely designs. My daughter (nine years old) kissed the unicorn board design. Designs are striking and achieve able and also make you want to make the effort. That said, it is a beautiful book for just browsing through as well. I love it.

I love this book. I bought it for my husband to give it to me for Christmas. I had a cheeky peep at it before reluctantly giving it to him to wrap. Looking forward to receiving it on Christmas Day as I’ve planned our evening meal from it.

I didn't really understand how come some of the board concepts have made it into the book, one is literally alternate slices of tomato and mozzarella, in fact a simple caprese salad (to point out that I am Italian!) that forms a candy cane and becomes a Christmas board...Many others follow this almost childish approach. Perhaps because it is aimed to families with children, just like the author's. But I can't really believe that I paid for that!!!?? Not sure about the substance...I wouldn't bother at all to buy!!! X

Easy to follow. Many recipes for all occassions and palates. Boards may require less actual cooking expertise (depending upon selection of food items) but reasonable culinary (sous chef) skills in some cases. Fun way to entertain with perhaps more options for advance preparation and potentially less prep or clean up in many cases -- especislly if you choose to purchase prepared foods. The beautiful photos of the finished product, depict how to assemble your board and showcase your talent! Visually appealing book. Makes a great gift for "foodie" friends.
