Product not working as expected
As of now, this downstream injector is not working for me. I setup to wash my house over the weekend and unfortunately it was an absolute fail 😮💨No soap of SH came out as expected. I made sure the flow was correct and I had the injector set to be wide open to get the maximum flow out of it. I used my J Rod soap nozzle for low soap rinse and high soap rinse and just to be sure, I used the supplied black soap nozzle. With the setting wide open, no soap pulled at all. I poured 3 gallons of 10% SH into a 5 gallon bucket mixed with 2 cups of soap and the rest water to dilute. I put weight on the tube to make sure it stayed submerged in the chemical to draw it. After that, I made sure that there were no leaks and everything was setup as expected. To somewhat get something done I had to use my foam cannon filling that up with the chemical but it didn't seem strong enough even at the highest setting. This was a disappointment and a lot of work unfortunately.

Works with Honda GX160/Simpson-brand pressure washer
I have a Simpson pressure washer from the mid-1990's with a Honda GX160 5hp engine. Originally the unit came with a Cat pump. It had been sitting unused for at least six year before I pulled it out of storage where it hadn't been stored correctly. First changed the spark plug and the engine started but died. The carburetor needed to be replaced after we failed to clean it well enough to get it running correctly, which was only $16, and then once the new carb was on and the engine running perfectly we found out the seals on the Cat pump had gone bad and had at least one leak, meaning the machine was way down on pressure. After looking and realizing that I couldn't find info on the correct o-rings and seals and would have to buy them blindly hoping I lucked out, I started looking at replacement pumps and after a few hours decided on this one.The old pump pulled right off using two pry bars, one on either side, pulled the mounting plate, and this new unit slid right on, shaft and key were a perfect fit, bolt pattern matched, and I used the bolts that came with the new pump since they were longer. After an much needed oil change and switch to synthetic 10w30 for the Honda engine, it's safe to say that this 25 year old pressure washer is actually running better now with this pump than it was with the old unit. I don't know how long this pump will last, but I just lightened up a driveway with it and now am going to be pressure washing the neighbors house for them. We're on well pressure at 60PSI, and it's still spinning the turbo tip once the air clears out of the line. I'm very happy with this.

Be cautious if using with bleach.
Used first time with a bleach mixture. When I went to use a week or so later, the unit would not function. Disassembled to find the spring corroded. If you do use with bleach, try running soap or water through the suction afterwards to see if that will preserve the spring.

an exact bolt on replacement, good value
I received this pump replacement a month ago, i have a 5hp Generac pressure washer that had bad pump valves and the age of the unit made it impossable to find replacement parts for. I found this pump on Amazon, it appeared to fit my application, so i gave it a shot. I made sure to measure the bolt pattern and shaft size to be sure of the fit prior to ordering, it was a perfect match, absoutly no issues installing and starting. The replacement pump restored my pressure washer to like new condition at a fraction of the cost, i've only had a few oppportunities to use it so far, but it's working flawless to date. I can't speak for the longevity at this moment, but keeping my fingers crossed that it's performance is an indicator to the life i can expect to get from this pump.

Bolt on and it’s ready
So far so good put it in a power stroke power washer from Walmart I bought 5 years ago. Went rate on and have power washed the house with no issues. I can’t really give stars on longevity since I’ve only had it a week. Other then that has been simple to install and just be sure to prime the pump before you start the engine. Press and hold wand trigger until all the air is out of hose.
