Soapy water will also help you applying the film keeping it from sticking too quickly, giving you the ability to get it lined up on all four sides. Question: Does this block the sun. I have a small window above a door that brings in so much sun I need something to help block it. Answer: It doesn't block much sun, but it does work well for a bit of privacy. The Installation Instruction of the Window Film: Step 1. According to the size of the glass cutting the size of the window film. Step 2. Clean your window thoroughly. Step 3. Spray some water on your window, more water more better. Step 4. Peel off the protective film gently ( you can throw it away),position the film window against window. Step 5. Squeeze out excess water and air bubbles,make sure no air bubbles left inside. Step 6. Dry off your window with the rag entirely, cut the excessive bit slowly. Step 7. Enjoy your work.
