MIRA Safety CM-I01 Full-Face Industrial-Grade Gas Mask with 40mm NATO Filter Compatibility and Advanced Valve Design

This is a really high quality mask. I feel confident every time I use it. I primarily use it for automotive painting and clear coat restoration. I've had other less expensive masks and this hands down beats them all by a long shot. When it comes to fit, finish, quality of all pieces of mask and their filters. The quality of the lenses are super impressive. They fit very well and it's very easy to communicate with the mask on.

The quality is great. It seals perfect and the field of view is pretty good. Mira makes a mask where you can talk clearer if you are worried about being muffled but this in a pinch is just fine.

Very comfortable, easy to shoot a pistol while wearing, a rifle not so much. Won't stop mustard gas but will work great for most things You would encounter in a riot situation.

The biggest downside for me? The smell. It has that strong, synthetic odor you'd expect from a Halloween-store mask—not exactly what you want in a professional-grade respirator.The fit and finish also leave something to be desired. The plastic connection point for the 40mm filter wiggles and makes noise. The overall face section feels very generic—like a one-size-fits-all design. While that might work for universal applications, it doesn’t quite suit my narrower face. I was hoping for something a bit more tailored.On the plus side:The swivel connector for the head strap makes it easy to position. The thick rubber strap holds tension well and doesn’t loosen over time. Field of view is excellent.The base plastic feels sturdy and impact-resistant (though I don't plan on testing that personally).Overall, it fits the description as advertised, but for me, it feels too spacious in ways that impact comfort and confidence. Still, it’s a solid mask with good features—just not a perfect fit for everyone.

Great mask and well-made. Built to last.Can you get cheaper on Amazon? Sure, but it will not be as well made as this.Only bad thing is it does not come with a cannister.

Excellent mask. Will stop most airborne agents but if your buying this to protect you against a nuclear fallout this is not it because the rubber is not made for that. I spoke to the company MIRA they said if you use the NBC-77-SOF filter with their CBRN hazmat suit and tape the suit to cover the rubber with their Kappler chemtape and of course their gloves and boots both CBRN rubber resistant you can be out in a fallout for approximately 45 min depending on the bomb how close exc. If you want to be fully protected go to their site it is expensive. Please listen to me I really did my homework on this. Tear gas dirty bomb is what this mask is for including everything I said above. I believe this mess with the right filter is the best part. I see an EMP tear gas being more of a threat and nuclear fallout.

I ordered two of these and they were shipped in very damaged, opened and unsealed boxes. When looking at the masks they were used. These were sold as new products.

For the price I don’t think it can be beat. I wanted full face protection for wood working projects and paint/powdercoating. I bought the adapter to put the 3M cartridge filters on it.Cheaper than buying a 3M facemask and it works.
