Unlike mosquito “zappers,” these are completely silent. They’re made of a light, flimsy plastic, so they are much less than ideal for clay soil. I was worried about breaking them, so I just stuck them in some planters with potting soil. They’re daylight sensing, so after charging in the sun for 8-12 hrs, they won’t turn on until the sun is all the way down. Perfect for a night outside, but not the greatest if you’re outside in the morning getting swarmed by mosquitos. There are so many dang mosquitos around the area that I’m just grateful to find a moderately priced solution that I can place in multiple spots.

Nice but the first set that arrived had bugs already in them. Was very disappointed with that. Returned and brand new ones were but still.

These lights unfortunately didn’t work, as in didn’t even turn on. I tested it outside for a few days to make sure. Had to return them.

flimsy and small On LED setting, the light is tiny and attracts bugs. on Zap its even less light and doesn't stsy on for long.

These lights are not very bright & are extremely poor quality
