Update: A few days after posting my original review the seller reach out to me and apologized for the defective product and offered to send in a replacement. They said they had upgraded the product and were happy to send a new one which should work properly.I got the product fast, but since I didn’t place an order, I got no confirmation email or tracking, but I got the package in 2-3 days.When opening it up nothing seemed different, same exact look an lighting cable, which at first, I was a little skeptical because for some reason I just assumed the problem was the cable and would come a different one. I think I was just expecting a difference (haha).One thing that was different is the color of the cover of the sticky part for the dashboard mount. But that is basically it.When installing the product again, it was as easy and quick as the first time. But the main concern the last time was the charging, it would start and stop again and again. This time I placed my phone on the MagSafe and started charging perfectly. The charging didn’t stop, and everything worked fine.I am very happy about the seller reaching out and sending the upgraded version. They reassured they wanted their costumer’s happy and the least they could do is give me a product that wasn’t bad.They also never pressured me to do a new review, I am doing it because as I said I’m very please at how everything turned out, and it’s also only fair that I do so.I will be given this charging mount a 5 star review and to the seller as well.Original: For the price you pay this is not worth it. First of all, it’s too late for me to return, my car got vandalized just when I bought this so I had to wait until I got it back to try this product.The reason I bought this item is because you could stick it on the dashboard and I also liked the sleek design and the MagSafe of course. But when I was trying to place it, It just wouldn’t stick; so either I got a bad batch or the product itself is bad, so I just gave up and put it on the air vent which I didn’t want to because then the phone can get too hot on winter when I have the heater on or in summer the phone is blocking the A/C. I would’ve bought a cheaper one if I knew I was going to end up putting it on the air vent, but as I said I couldn’t return anymore so…Second, the “MagSafe supercharger” doesn’t work, of course this is a big reason I decided to go with this option and to know it doesn’t work is very very upsetting. I’ve tried different outlets on my car and different cars and it’s the same. When I first place it, it starts charging but after 2 seconds it just stops, and after a few seconds it starts again and then stops again, so that will end up ruining my battery so I just end up disconnecting the cable so that doesn’t happen.When you’re paying 30-40 dollars for an item I would expect it to work, this isn’t cheap and I’m really dissatisfied, disappointed and upset with this purchase. The 2 main reasons I bought this are the same ones that make this product bad and not reliable.The only thing I like about this is the hold power for the phone, it is very secure and doesn’t move around while driving. But I guess still isn’t worth it.I’ve seen reviews saying the same thing but then get a good product so I’m hoping I hear back from the seller. If not, I guess I’m stuck with this trash.As I said It just might be a bad batch, but who knows.

Construction seems solid with many mounting options. It holds my s25 ultra with a fairly thick leather case extremely solidly. Phone doesn't move at all while driving. Unfortunately it will only slow charge for me. I've tried different outlets in my car, two different 12v adapters at 60w and 90w and it still only slow charges. Disappointed because magnetic strength is greatUpdate....the manufacturer reached out to me and sent me another charger. This one will fast charge consistently while using the same case and adapter as the previous one. Not sure what was up with the first charger but this one is great as was customer service. Changing rating from a 2 to a 5.

This is one of my favorite products on amazon. I've gifted it so many people. it is one of the best products in its category on the market and i've tried a few. The quality of the material very high and the metallic feeling and elegant look is unbeatable. It is very stable on the vents and it's magnet really keeps the phone hanging on well. What I like about having it mounted on the vent in comparison to other types of mounting is that the phone stays cool unlike the other ones where your phone becomes unusable due to overheating. The speed of charging is great as long as you have a fast car adapter. I think the price is a little high but I have had 5 of them in the family the first 2 that have lasted for 2 years now and still going so it might be worth the price after all. Gifting this to others gives me joy knowing that I'm giving them a really good product.

ProsThe product felt well built and not cheap. The only thing that was weird was the piece that sticks up and down to brace the holder against the vent (which can be seen in the first picture) actually spins freely until you tighten the mount down.They provide everything you need to start using the charger, and the car charger bit felt premium. The cable is braided and flimsy but in a good way.The charger lights up with a nice subtle green. During the day, it’s not noticeable under super sunny conditions. You really notice it at night and it looks awesome. The car charger also lights up with a subtle blue ring.Magnetic strength is phenomenal. Was using a MagSafe translucent Torras case (iPhone 15 pro) and was never worried about it falling off, even over major bumps. With this combo, I could see people saying that’s it overly strong to be honest. When I used a iPhone 14 with generic silicon MagSafe clear case, the magnetism was still very good.ConsFirstly this car charger mounts feels like it sits far off from the vent. With my iPhone 15 pro, the space from the back of my phone to the dash felt far and awkward to look at when I had my phone mounted on it. Some people could people get use to it but I could not.The legs that brace the mount to provide more support up and down (right against the vent) did not work well in a 2017 Nissan Murano. It rests awkwardly on the silver trim (see first image).Using the provided cable and charger, I did not get the MagSafe charging animation when using my iPhone 15 pro, but it did seem to charger quickly.Side note:My iPhone 15 pro gets noticeably warm when using this charger. As a result I always have the air on to help manage heat when using the mount. On a 2017 Nissan Murano, this style of attachment keeps the vent open and level at all times. When my seat adjustment for driving, this unfortunately meant that air was always blown into my face, drying out my eyes. When I had a iPhone 14 on the mount, it did not get as warm.
