Vulgar and ugly
I was excited to share this book with my child who is learning about adjectives. But when we sat down to read it she was so repulsed by the ugly pictures she didn’t want to look at the book. So disappointed.

Terrific book!
As a methods student in college, I had to write and teach a lesson plan for 2nd graders about adjectives. This book was great---it provided numerous examples using rhymes and humor that kept the students' attentions. I also used Cleary's homonyms/homophones book for a second English lesson with the same results: it was fun and kept the students engaged. As a future teacher, I would highly recommend this book to educators and parents alike for a fun-filled, educational experience that children are sure to enjoy!
