I suffer from fibromyalgia and arthritis and have struggled for years,desperately trying to walk my 2 dogs ( 1 husky,1German Shepherd ).One is amazing on the lead and 1 isn't.I got where I didn't walk them anymore,leaving it to my husband to do and hated that.I honestly felt like my dog walking days were over.I came across this little diamond because my husband was away on holiday for a couple of weeks and our son's were less that willing to walk them everyday.I honestly didn't hold out much hope but thought just let me get threw until he gets home.I honestly couldn't be more happier.It is comfortable to wear.Has a good amount of adjustment in the waistband.The D rings are strong,Ive clipped my poo bag holder to 1 and just use the lead bit when we're near a main road.The leash is a good length too.It doesn't spring me back and forth if my dog decides to try walk faster than me.I can now just clip both leads onto it and throw them over my shoulders when we're out walking the fields.My son even uses it.He says it makes his walk much more enjoyable because he wasn't constantly trying to pull Shadow back to heel.I have honestly used it for not just walking,Ive used it to stop my dog running away when I try to wash or brush him.It has truly given me my life with my dogs back.If like me your hands don't work as well and your about to give up walking your dogs cause you can't hold the lead or you want to go along on your bike this handy invention is definitely what you need.I love it so much I am buying my dog owner friends them for Christmas.

I've now been out running a few time with my dog and harness using the hands free dog lead - it works a treat, just the right length, a good amount of springiness, and quite sturdy. The only very small downside is the belt slightly slackens itself if the slip guards aren't rammed against the belt shrtening / lengthening loops. I think when I get the perfect fit I'll put a couple of stitches in. But others may not find this to be a problem. Also my mother has used the belt and lead to stop the dog wrenching her shoulder, which was a problem with a normal lead. Lools like it'll take some hammer ....

bought this as I walk five dogs and have times when I need to have all 5 on leads.One boy is a Samoyed and very strong, this was bought for him.This helps to minimise how many leads I have to hold especially when picking up poo.It is strong enough to hold the Samoyed and the elastic has not lost its bounce, so he can still enjoy sniffing around with his friends but I can keep him under close control when needed - there are handles at each end of the lead.Can clip another dog to waist strap if needed.So glad I purchased this.

I bought this as I have recently gotten a second dog, so that I can free up one hand.The only thing I’ve found is the lead is a bit long for me, I’m 5’3.Good elasticity and adjustable waist

This only arrived yesterday but so far so good, good quality and I much prefer this type of clip, much easier to use, bungee has ample stretch and feels strong and secure. The hand loops are quite small bearing in mind that I put my hand through the loop, the first time I put my hand through it was a bit of a struggle but on the flip side if you’re just using the lead the loop isn’t going to come off your hand by accident so perhaps being a bit small is a good idea. All in all happy with the product and delivered next day, excellent

Brought so that if need be I can be hands free. I walk holding it and I have another dog who I could attach If I want. Very long a springy if you're a jogger or on a bike. My inspiration for buying it was because of all the dog thefts increasing. If they want my dog they will have to take me too. Also with a spare hand I am free to give um what for.

The actual lead is very strong but not as light or as stretchy as I’d expected. I have got pulled by my dog because of this. It’s good in that the waist band is adjustable . It’s a bit too heavy for a medium size dog I think.

The hands free dog lead is much better than I had expected. I have a Newfie/German Shep Cross and is currently up on 42kg, so I was a little bit worried he'd pull me off my feet.First I only used the lead for walking as my dog by accident broke my middle finger on my dominant hand. This lead made it much easier for me to walk him with only one hand.Now I have also been running with my dog using this lead and it's brilliant! It's not too long and not too short, and he has NOT pulled me off my feet! (yet haha). It has the perfect lenght for him to both stop and sniff, for him to go a little ahead and for him to run right next to me, without any one of us being tangled.Like another review said, it does tend to slid up. So when I run I sit it around my waist a little loosely, instead of on the hips, which means that if my dog changes side, it will simply spin around with him, instead of the lead getting us all tangled up. I enjoy running with him now because I have my hands free and he enjoys it just as much.
