Proud to be a Power Girl fan.
Power Girl, power trip by Jimmy Palmiotti, Geoff Johns overall is a very good comic book. With just the right amount of seriousness and, humour I would expect from a comic book. Packed with stories with the perfect blend of action packed scenes and, comical humour.Power Girl a.k.a Karen Starr, is trying to make a new life for herself, both as a superhero and, as a person. She left her old earth behind her and, has discovered that life can be difficult living on another earth. On this earth she is a member of the J.S.A. not only that Karen Starr is also running her own business, called Starrware lab's. On top of all that finds herself battling with various enemies. In one of the stories collected in this book, Power Girl becomes the object of Vartox's affections. Vartox tries to win her over by unleashing a dangerous alien creature on earth, with the intention of recapturing it in order to win Karen's heart. With hilarious consequences. The writing is superb in my opinion and, the artwork by Amanda Conner is absolutely stunning. Power Girl looks irresistibly beautiful. There are also some cameo appearances by the likes of Superman, Supergirl and, Wonder Woman etc.Overall a really enjoyable and, fun comic book to read. I happily recommend it.

Fun read
Been getting back into comics and wanted the broaden beyond the Bat Family so gave this a try and wasn't disappointed. I've heard of Power Girl, seen her in other stuff but never read anything stand alone about her. This is a great collection. A perfect combination of action, mystery and humour. Power Girl is a well drawn character, a much more interesting interpretation of the "Kryptonian" in my view, which made the stories more interesting.I'm not sure if there's anything ongoing but I'd read more about Power Girl after this.

Fun and light-hearted
Great light-hearted read. To a degree has that classic Superman feel coupled with a more down-to-earth storytelling. Ever so relevant story of trying to fit in and finding a place in the world coupled with Power Girls sassines makes up for a great read. Highly reccomended to anyone that is interested in character

holy moley!
wow, this books expensive. I've been into comic art for a long time but there's only two artists I follow nowadays, Amanda Conner and Damion Scott. This one's Conner and she's good. deceptively so. simple lines, an economy of brush strokes, artistic perfection. pure magic. not sure about the story telling, I can never get past the art
