Great quality. The buckwheat hulls are neatly enclosed in a cloth cover with a zip to enable easy filling / removing of hulls as per your desired thickness, and inserted in a good quality, soft, white pillow case.I received the pillow about two weeks ago, but put off writing a review till I tried it for some time.Background: I was a little hesitant to purchase this as I have not used buckwheat pillows before. I have a chronic neck pain (due to constant working on the laptop), beginning of cervical spondylosis since about 1.5 years and have lower spinal vertebrae issues (fusing of a couple of vertebrae and therefore pinching of nerves in between them, leading to a lot of pain) - for many years now. I have been suffering for years from insomnia as I am a very light sleeper, as well. I have tried all kinds of pillows (including the ones recommended for neck pain - the cervical pillows) and mattresses - soft, hard, firm, and various sleeping positions with a pillow tucked between my knees etc. The cervical pillows were very expensive at the time I bought them a few years ago (when I didn't have neck pain and was just looking for comfortable orthopaedic recommended pillows), and these worked just the opposite - probably actually causing raising of my neck and therefore to the cervical spondylosis issue since last 1.5 years. I abandoned using them about a year ago and my neck pain actually became better on stopping the same. (I'm sure it may have helped others, this is just what happened to me, which could be a very one-off case, I have nothing against cervical pillows!). I researched online for the latest on pillows, sleeping positions, etc and came across a video on youtube where the physiotherapist recommended and showed how to use a buckwheat hulls pillow, as well as explained the benefits of using them. I did a search on buckwheat pillows India (not really expecting to see them sold here, as I'd not heard of them before, nor seen any advertisements) and imagine my surprise on finding it on Amazon. I was of course delighted. It is priced a little high for the Indian market, but after using it I can confidently say that I feel it has been worth every penny (or rather paisa)!Here comes the actual review: Although the articles and videos I researched on buckwheat pillows (including as per the seller on Amazon - in the advertisement and the brochure that came with the pillow) mention that it takes a couple of days or more to adjust to the pillow, I had no problem at all adjusting to it from the very first night. As advised by the physiotherapist in the youtube video, I used my forearm to make a slight concave shape in the pillow for my head and ear (I sleep on my side) - the pillow would otherwise be too firm. I dropped my head on the pillow and was off to sleep. I actually truly did sleep much better. Unlike other reviews on Amazon.com where people mention noise from the hulls etc, I did not find any such issue. The pillow is heavy and firm, yes, and so one cannot comfortably pull the pillow closer if needed as one would do to other softer and lighter pillows, however there is no need to do so (at least I didn't find the need to, during the last few days).Since using it now for two weeks or more, I actually do not toss and turn trying to find a comfortable sleeping position (I still use a pillow between my bent knees as recommended by physiotherapists and doctors) and drop off to sleep pretty soon. I sleep much longer on one side now than I used to, before changing sides. In fact sometimes I found myself not changing sides at all and that I slept on one side throughout the night. The pain is better too and I do not wake up to a stiff and sore body with cramped muscles. All these are a huge plus with me, believe me (and anybody suffering similar problems like me would empathise).I have tried to give a detailed review which I hope will help people contemplating buying this for themselves. I wanted to try this pillow before writing any reviews and after using it for nearly a month, I can say that it surely has improved my lifestyle. I no longer wake up in the morning with pain in my neck or shoulders or even head (an offshoot from neck). I have tried all kinds of pillow prior to this one (Buckwheat) but to no avail......none took away the pain that I would wake up with most often.And I would like to also add that one day after a prolonged time at the computer, when I went to bed with a neck pain & no medication, I woke up the next day with no pain at all..... I would attribute this to the Buckwheat pillow for sure since I have gone through similar times before and almost always had to wake up in the middle of the night to take a Tylenol. But none this time around.......so for me, its an excellent product.As far as keeping the head cool or warm......I really did not notice much difference.Also would recommend to see some of the videos on Youtube regarding how to use a Buckwheat pillow. That helps for sure.......!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and size of this pillow. The buckwheat is in a zippered case and that is also covered in a zippered case. The quality of the sowing and the material are excellent. The pillow supports my neck and keeps me cool. I am so happy that I made this purchase and would highly recommend this pillow because it does everything it says it will.

Too soon to say whether it's working for me but so far so good. I don't wake up with shoulder pains like I used to before. The buckwheat hulls hold their position minimizing stress on the neck and adapt as you turn. It does take a while to get comfy with it but beyond that I don't have any specific issues. It is a little expensive but a regular pillow of supposedly decent quality would cost you 800-1000 Rupees but wouldn't give you similar comfort.Edit - when I finally got around to washing the quilted cover I saw that there was a weevil infestation in the pillow . The more I kill the more they multiply . I tried leaving the hulls in the sun and yet they are still alive . So disappointed with the quality control of the hulls in the pillow .

Product was delivered on time. Well packed. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product. Extra filling for the pillow is provided. I've been using it for about 4 days now. Usually, I wake up with a very stiff neck but I haven't felt that sort of discomfort since I started using this. I would definitely recommend this buy!

Received it two days back.It really takes shape of your posture and gives support to required points. The product is fully as per the description given by the seller.I recommend it to those who suffer from neck pain and are searching for a suitable pillow.

This pillow is changing my life! I had such bad neck and shoulder pain as I am a stomach sleeper but this works wonders! I would definitely recommend it to any one who suffers from bad neck and shoulder pain!

Wonderful product and highly recommended. It in fact took couple of days for me to get used to the pillow but now I cannot do without it.
