Indicator light burned out in the first 2 weeks
I like the dual voltage and the size - it's a great kettle. The indicator light burned out in the first couple of weeks, otherwise I'd rate it a 5.

Still works, but a little slower now.
Purchased this many years ago, and have been using it constantly since! While it was very fast in boiling water in the past, it seems to take a lot of 'breaks' lately. I had to open it one time as the auto-turn off function was not working as well, but the switch just needed a little bit of tightening. I do appreciate the portability, as well as the function of being able to switch from 120 to 240v as needed. It still does work after all this time, but having to wait for the water to boil when it constantly turns off to cool down (I am assuming) can be a little bit annoying sometimes.

Light in weight, boils water in a timely manner
Eight oz. of water (the smallest suggested amount) reaches the boiling point in less than 2 minutes. When I first filled the kettle to the “MAX” level and turned it on, I thought it wasn’t working properly because it turned off before the water even began to boil. If you just leave it alone, however, it will start a new heating cycle in a few seconds. It took about 5 minutes to boil 0.5 liters of water and went through about 4 cycles of shutting off and turning back on before reaching a rolling boil.Of the electric travel kettles I considered ordering, this is the lightest in weight. I also like that it’s made of stainless steel. So far, I haven’t had an opportunity to try it out in a country where the voltage is 240. I plan to use this kettle to make coffee by the pour-over method when I visit countries where it’s very difficult to find coffee that’s to my liking. It will come in handy for certain domestic travel situations also. Not only will this kettle add very little to the total weight of one’s luggage, it won’t take up much volume either since some items can be packed inside of it. I’m definitely looking forward to using my new kettle on a trip!

Slow Water Boiler
This particulate model takes like 4 x longer to boil water than the one (same brand) I have previously. I actually requested a refund on Amazon because I thought it did not work. Then I return to the boiler later and it finally boiled the water.....very slow. Also the top is more difficult to open then the previous model. There is no hole to place your finger in to open the lid like the older version. You have to use the top handle that is hard to pull open.

Great Product and Great Customer Service
Initially when I first tried to use this I thought it was broken, so I contacted the manufacturer and they walked me through the return process, which is totally painless. Luckily I didn't make it to the post office right away, and I realized the plug adapter i was using wasn't working anymore. I bought a new one and tried the kettle again and it works great! Boils water very fast and super easy to clean. I love it! It was very easy to cancel the return too.

I got a lemon unit.
Bought my second kettle recently because my first one was lost in our Japan trip. But the problem is with the new one i have, it doesn’t totally heat the water. You have to press the heat button again before it boils. And the switch is not going back to off position.

Early review - Works Great! Great Size. - Latest review not so much.
>>>SEE LATEST UPDATE AT BOTTOM<<<Was packaged well. Comes in a nice illustrated box complete with a instruction booklet (gives good info on power sources etc.).Photo 1 shows the kettle next to a 16oz. Chinet cup.Photo 2 shows the kettle with lid removed on top on an old iPad 1 casePhoto 3 shows the kettle with a 500 ml / 15.9 OZ water bottle with water in kettle (note: plenty of room left for more water)The kettle brought room temperature water to a full boil in 2:59 (2 minutes, 59 seconds), and automatically shut of at 3:15 (3 minutes 15 seconds). Note: This was on 120V setting.I have a trip coming up where I'll be able to test the 240V setting and will update review on that. Some have mentioned the switch on the handle. I agree it looks like it could be "the weak link", however, if packaged wisely, I don't see that being an issue. I travel frequently, so I'll up date this review after some good use.So initially, overall I'm happy with what I got. 4 Stars. If it performs well over time I'll give it another star.UPDATE MAY 2019:I have now used it in Australia = 240 voltage. I simply switched the voltage on the kettle to 240 (using butter knife, very easy). Attached an adapter, not a voltage convertor, to fit the outlet, and worked great. Entire boil cycle to shut off for 16 oz. of room temperature water was 2:50 (2 minutes 50 seconds). So I added the 5th star know it works on both voltage settings and performs great!>>>Update JUN 9 2019: <<<Darn! I'm now getting a problem. I flip the switch, it seems to be working normally, but then it cuts the power intermittently. It doesn't trip the switch to the off position. It will turn off, then after maybe 20 seconds os so start heating up again. It will eventually boil, but it takes much more time now and is inconsistent. It seems to me this might be some kind of malfunction with a safety fuse maybe.Anyway, have to downgrade my star raring on this issue.I also noticed my review, once negative, seemed to be moved = said 1 review in the list. So I'm also posting it here also. Seller is the same.

Boils water quickly
Good power. I've used this on a number of trips around the world you just have to remember to adjust the small switch to the correct power 110 or 220. I'd recommend monitoring the water boiling because I don't trust the auto shutoff completely but that's just me worrying.
