Good product. Nice and sturdy and slides well. The front bottom edge is a little sharp however and can catch you by surprise. All things considered, I am very happy with it.

Sturdy
I got this keyboard drawer after trying (and bustin') the Fellowes similar product. The Exponent keyboard drawer comes in a large flat box. The assembly instructions are on the outside.Inside is the gizmo itself. A bag of brackets. A bag of screws, nuts and bolts. And a bag with wrist-rest pads. Haven't tried those yet. They cover pencil and paper-clip compartments in the drawer's front edge. Not sure I want paper clips near my keyboard, so I might install the pads.Anyway, You have to assemble this thing before you can mount it under a table. Once assembled it screws into wood.Assembling the brackets and then the drawer sliders was a bit heavy going for me.The drawer sliders seem to be symmetric - but are not. So there is a way to get things put together back-to-front, and I did that on one side. You fasten the adjustable brackets on the slider thing while the slider thing is off the drawer itself. Putting the sliders back on I found that one side bound a bit, so I though 'it wants pushing a bit'.In life there are moments when your strength and you intelligence need to balance. This was one of them. While putting the slider back on the receptors fixed to the drawer there is a fair amount of 'push and press down tab while sliding slider A onto slider B'. It will click into place in a satisfying way. Under no circumstances assume that if it binds it is because it wants pushing.I got the parts jammed together and they would not come apart without some use of force. I was able to bend the parts, that got bent, back in place. Some ball-bearings popped out of the 'races' that sit inside the sliders. Well you can pop the ball bearings back in with a bit of a push and a pair of pliers. The way to tell what is the right way forward on the sliders is to notice that the one non-symmetric part of it is a bent-in tab across the short end of the slider- The other end has no such tab. This tab wants to be at the back as seen from the front, when the drawer is in use. Some of these drawer things come with a cut-out paper plan you can glue on the underside of the table which shows where to drill the holes to fix the brackets under the table. This one does not. I will undo the brackets later and get the thing sitting straight. The REASON i still think this is a good unit is that it has those METAL BRACKETS. The Fellowes one doesn't - they are plastic and you will not be pleased with service.Oh, The F one has a slide out tray for the mouse. This one doesn't.

Very pleased and definitely recommended
Looked at quite a few keyboard drawers before choosing this one and very glad I did. Simple design with enough room for my keyboard and mouse to took away neatly. Assembly instructions a bit confusing to me but the diagram on the box was easy enough to follow instead and the metal fixings make it feel secure and sturdy when it's attached to the desk. You even get one spare nut, bolt and screw in the pack. Also liking the hidden pen etc holders under the wrist pads. Exactly what I was looking for, think it was well worth the extra £5 compared to similar products available and I am very happy with my purchase.

The construction screws keep coming loose and falling out with use as they do not supply star washers to keep them tight, so I am getting some elsewhere to hopefully stop that. Its also made of a flimsy plastic and the supplied foam wrist pads won't even reach the bottom of the fixing slots to be able to stick them in with supplied double sided tape, so I am thinking of another way to fix them with padding. All in all not that impressed.

arrived on time very pleased with this item and had no problem fitting same, only one complaint I find the wrist supports no good as they keep coming out of the slots I have tried to stick them in but to no avail so I am doing without,

Does the job with reservations.
Once built and fitted the drawer works just fine but the brackets are not as adaptable as it claims. There's meant to be three fitting heights but only the lower two work with the bolts supplied. The top holes are right in line with the metal runners so the bolts block them (tray jams, won't open up) I wanted the tray to be as high as possible so I had to miss a couple out and use bolts with flatter heads for the others.

Exponent Keyboard drawer.
Very good value at discounted price. Sturdy construction, smooth roller bearing slide units with positive lock at full extension. My desk too big and heavy to invert, working upside down proved awkward but through no fault of the product. A template would have been useful. Had a hard time finding any kind of fault but there are sharp corners adjacent to knees. A surface for mouse operation would be a bonus.

Good product
The product is well made and does the job. I have 2 computers in use but only 1 desktop. I have one keyboard on the desktop and the other underneath the desk,Quite difficult to fix unless you are able to tuen the desk upside-down (which I could not). There is also not a lot of knee-room under the desk once fitted.
