Exactly what we needed!!
We purchased a full sized mattress and box-spring for my daughter's bed frame. Even the low-profile box-spring made the mattress sit far too high. I'd never heard of a "Bunkie Board" but after reading many reviews we landed on this one. This Bunkie Board is a great value ($100 less than the box-spring)! It's very sturdy and was easy to assemble (15 minutes). It fits inside the frame rails perfectly, but I would suggest leaving the existing cross supports in place if you have them (we did). The board provides excellent support for the mattress with very little movement and absolutely zero added noise.

Seems good so far!
I really enjoy the bed on the floor look but can’t seem to find a frame low enough that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, so I decided to go with this and see how it does. I like the look, the price was perfect, and it took 40 minutes or so to put together. Not sure how I feel about the sticky stuff, but could be a pro. I purchased a queen and I feel like it fit my queen mattress just fine. Doesn’t seem to make any noise so far and my dogs jump on and off the bed plenty.

Perfect in my RV
We ordered the bunkie board as a way to allow airflow under the new memory foam mattress that we purchased for our RV. It was incredibly easy to put together (hex wrench included) and fit both the designated space and the mattress perfectly. The spacing between the slats is just slightly more than recommended for the mattress, but it should work. The center support is a win! I love how sturdy it feels, and wouldn't hesitate to use it with a regular bedframe as well as on the solid wood platform of the RV. I chose not to use the adhesive since the mattress is supposed to be rotated every 6 months or so, and it wouldn't do to have the frame stuck to the mattress.

OMG THIS IS GONNA SAVE MY BACK
This bunkie board is life changing, my mattress used to sag so bad and made a ton of noise, but this is so supportive and SILENT. I am excited. It seems very sturdy and supportive. I’d say it’s worth every penny!!

Easy to assemble, could have been slightly wider
It "just" fit side rail ledge/battens of my queen frame from Crate and Barrel, but was 0.5 to 1 cm too narrow so I had to wedge in some felt pads to keep it from sliding laterally. Took the advice of another reviewer and mounted 2 support posts on the center bar. So far so good.

Made a huge difference in comfort!
I never realized what a difference a box spring or bunkie board could make under your mattress. We've kept the same old box spring for years -through 3 mattresses. We were about to buy a new mattress and decided to do this first to lower the bed for my wife. That mattress is now so comfortable that we're keeping it for the foreseeable future. With its own metal frame, this is a sturdy product once put together. Yeah, I'd like to talk to their engineers about assembly - one small change that would cost them $0 would make this easier on your knuckles. But, once together, it's very sturdy. There are some non-slip pieces on top of the wood that are supposed to stop your mattress from sliding around. I was skeptical but they work! I had trouble getting my mattress into place because of these - I had to lift it into its proper place. Now that it's there, that mattress isn't going anywhere.

Worst Product Support
Seller has no communication to address a problem with this. While the unit is okay, it came with an incorrectly manufactured slat that will not insert in place properly. I have emailed the company several times and originally received a bogus, clearly AI response because it addressed literally nothing I was talking about and accused me of assembling it incorrectly. Clearly their AI does not analyze photos. I responded and asked for an actually response from someone, it has been weeks and nothing, despite several emails, calls and reaching out to Amazon support whom simply gave me the same contact information from them. Again the unit is okay, but forget it if you need any kind of support. This company is garbage from a support perspective. Do not recommend.

Breathes new life into an old bad frame
We have a 24-year-old day bed in our office. To accommodate a collapsible trundle, the upper mattress is supported by a spring-stretched mesh of interconnected steel rods instead of a box spring. I've always thought that this system provided inadequate support, but I also thought the mattress might be the problem. Yesterday, we replaced the mattress, which was filled with spring coils, with a memory foam mattress. That helped, but it still felt like the underlying support was poor. This bunkie board looked like it might fix the support issue, so I ordered one, which was delivered today. Assembly was very straightforward and quick. We placed the bunkie board over the original bed frame, and it fit perfectly. We then placed the mattress on the bunkie board. I gave it a test drive, and wow, what a difference! The mattress no longer feels as if it sags under my weight. A tremendous improvement. Highly recommended.
