The Mortal Instruments: The Graphic Novel, Vol. 1 (MORTAL INSTRUMENTS GN)

I have been craving Cassandra Clare lately, I always feel like this towards the holidays but I've also very little down time at the moment.When I came across this comic I thought, 'what better way to get through the craving?'I hadn't read a comic in black and white before this, at the start I was a bit iffy on it because my usual comic reads are very detailed and coloured but this actually gripped me more. I got swept away into the Shadow World again and I cannot wait to continue this series of comics.

If you love Cassandra Claire and you love gratin novels then this is for you !I purchased this as a gift for my friend and she opened it on video call.This book as always with CassandraClaire is of great quality and captures the story in a new and exciting way.I definitely will be buying the rest of these volumes.

Although I am not normally a graphic novel kind of girl, I am a massive fan of the Shadowhunter Chronicles, so I knew I had to check this out. I was not disappointed. It is beautifully drawn and really brings the characters to life on the page. I was worried that the illustrations wouldn't fit how I viewed the characters in my head, by Cassandra Jean has done an amazing job.

I've been wanting to read this series for a while and have started the Netflix adaption. I saw the first volume of the graphic novel on KU and decided to download. Definitely piqued my interest for more.

Lovely illustrations that vividly match the story. An enjoyable read. Those who like enthralling stories as well as manga or comic book format will defiantly like.

My niece enjoys Cassandra Clare so much that these are boos of choice when it comes to Christmas and birthdays/

I was really excited to buy this as I love the stories by Cassandra Clare as well as the work created by Cassandra Jean.However I was a bit disappointed because the art work was rather bland in comparison to her usual style and it felt rushed.That’s not to say it isn’t a great book or good art work because it is but I do feel it could have been better, that the characters could of been given more ‘life’ as they seemed a little flat.On the other hand I admired the layout, easy flow and the hidden gems of course. No doubt I’ll consider getting the second volume and hope with the practice of the first, that it will only improve.

So good for a road trip with something or you’re not going to have a lot of quiet not as good as the novo

Loved this series since I was a kid, just had to by the novel! The art style is amazing and there's even scenes in here that aren't in the original books! Definitely worth the buy if your a shadow hunters fan :)

Esse Graphic novel é extremamente lindo, comprei para iniciar a leitura em inglês depois de anos de procrastinação e não tenho o que reclamar sobre compreensão de idioma, achei fácil de entender e os desenhos deixam tudo ainda mais fácil!Vale a pena comprar para ter coleção e revisitar o universo de Cassandra Clare.

Me daba miedo que llegase con los bordes doblados pero llegó en perfecto estado. Los dibujos de Cassandra Jean son preciosos, este libro no puede faltar en tu estanteria! Solo es la mitad del primer libro Ciudad de Hueso, la segunda parte es el volumen dos, es decir, los libros se dividen en dos volumenes.
