Excellent rod for the money
I’m quite impressed with this rod. It’s super light, has Fuji guides and reel seat, and work superbly with my Penn fathom II 15. Comparatively speaking, the guide spacing is excellent and it throws like a 1205. Loads up excellent. I’ve actually recommended this rod on social media. Sure you can spend 650 and buy a custom, but until I win the lottery, this is my go to rod. I actually liked it so much that I bought a 12’ and a 9’ spinning. I caught three sharks 5 1/2 to 7 feet long weighing in at +/- 125 to 170 pounds two weeks ago and Hatteras using this rod.

Nice Rod good action
Nice rod great paired with a grand wave conventional reel for plunking salmon steelhead sturgeon in the Columbia River Pacific Northwest. Definitely will buy again.

Nice Rod. Small real seat. Grip wore off after a few minutes in the sand spike.
So I use this rod for the first time today. It's really light and it's a good looking rod. I have two complaints. The first is that the real seat is too small for my Penn Spinfisher 8500. I could barely get it into the real seat and then there wasn't enough thread to tighten it. The first locking ring would tighten but there was not enough thread to tighten the secondary one. That's really disappointing cuz I specifically bought this rod for that reel. I had to go with a smaller reel. I ended up using a pen battle III 8000 and that barely fit. I really had to crank on it to get the thread to catch. Another thing I noticed is that the grip is already worn off from putting it into the sand spike rod holder. Pretty odd because I only used it once. Don't get this. If you're trying to put a large reel on it will not fit.

This is insane value for what you get
The second this package arrived, I knew this company was serious. It was in a thick and solid cardboard tube that had padded caps on both ends. The rod was in a plastic bag with a protector for the top guide. This rod feels like quality I've never felt before. When I first held it I immediately knew it was durable and heavy duty. The guides appear to be built solid, especially the top guide which looks and feels better than my penn rods. I paired this rod with a squall ii 15 and have had great distance when casting up to 10oz lead with bait. Its handled big blues, small sharks, and skates like absolutely nothing. My overall advice would be to BUY THIS ROD, you will not be disappointed.

Nice Rod light weight.
The media could not be loaded. Took this rod fishing off the Malibu rocks. So far I’ve been skunked but rod is nice I think I went over board with getting the 12’ I would definitely purchase another one but would be the 10’ for my type of fishing. Money well spent.
