It smells great and attracts the ladies

The only reasons I give this imitation men’s fragrance two stars is 1) it’s very inexpensive, and 2) it’s a large bottle containing a good amount of cologne…with the point being I didn’t spend much on it. As my Dad always says…”you get what you pay for”…a statement that certainly applies to this fragrance. Seeing as the rise of inflation has resulted in the cost of brand name cologne going sky high, I’ve been trying out different imitation fragrances…for which I’ve been pretty successful in most cases. And since I’ve worn 212 Carolina Herrera in the past (and loved it), I thought I’d try out this imitation version of it. Unfortunately, I have to say I’m very disappointed. While the OG 212 is a fresh, clean and sexy fragrance that garners a lot of compliments from people wanting to know what cologne I’m wearing, this fragrance just doesn’t measure up. I understand and appreciate that few imitation fragrances will ever smell exactly the same as the brand they are supposed to imitate (hence it being an “imitation” or “knock off”)…but I’d at least expect it to smell as close as possible. This one just smells like powder…and I do mean POWDER. I’m not sure if it’s baby powder or something else, but it sure doesn’t smell anywhere close to how it’s been marketed and packaged. Some people might like how it smells, but I do not like it and will not purchase this fragrance again.

Great value

I must admit I was hesitant to buy an imposter....excuse me... a hybrid smell. BUT I was not disappointed, I made my hubby close his eyes and spritz him with the spray. He knew immediately the iconic smell. Then I showed him the bottle and he was shocked. I must say it does not last all day but it is a great smell and a homeroom for being close in fragrance.

Awesome cologne. It reminds me of summers in New York City.
